    No Des Now

Hello, is it normal that DES NOW LSK doesn't cause any aircraft reaction? -> even when VNAV is active, I'm 15 nm befrore TOD and MCP altitude is set for lower FL? Lucas
  2. I also have ocasionally 5-sec-freeze but quite rarely. They usually appears few seconds after changing view from VC to external view (NGX or 777, both PMDG). What is probably reason? (CFG below) This issue appears also over default ground tekstures, at flight level. Specification: i5 2500K @ 4.3 GHz, 8 GB RAM, GTX660Ti 2GB, SATA III DX10 Steve Fixer, ASN, REX textures, UTX, vRoute, EZCA, SweetFX

    why on PMDG only

Do you have this issue from the beginning since you installed T7 and Ezca was already installed? If yes, try run EZDOK Configurator again.
  4. @geolpilot many, many thanks for your explanations! Now it's quiet clear to me ... I'll go practice now Yes, of course. It was mine misunderstanding. All the best! Lukasz
  5. Thanks for reply, Ryan, but... I mean set IAS on MCP before using trim switches. Look at this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kae_wDCGex0&list=PL5caETAZRBN6mPhNASIlMg2bkWH2DbtIz&index=2 ...from 4:15 min. * * * Do you mean that when I want to - for example - descent and slow down simultaneously, I should ONLY use trim reference switches?
  6. Hi friends, I also have problem with trim of this bird and with understanding FBW system (after reading all this thread additionally I have a headache ^_^ -> however above Rob's post quite clears the subject for me... Anyway, I would like to ask you about few things: 1. is it necessary to change IAS on MCP before using trim switches? (for example: while flying straight ahead I want to slow down, and don't want to change altitude) 2. Let's assume following conditions: flying straight ahead and I want to slow down, and don't want to change altitude - so I: decrease IAS on MCP, push trim switches down for "X" sec. (depends on how much I change speed) and then I HAVE TO push forward control column? - please confirm 3. Let's assume situation that I want to change altitude (from FL120 to FL150, with 1000 fpm) and without speed change - so I: only use control column (back pressure until I get 1000 fpm, then release column), without touching trim switches - please confirm 4. Let's assume situation that I want to change altitude (from 8000 ft to 5000 ft) and slow down from 240 to 200 kts - what should I do? Thanks for your tolerance and patience (I hope  ) Lucas
  7. Ok, so I'll delete: [DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti.0] Mode=1024x768x32 Thanks!
  8. No, I don't have HT. Also, I don't have big fps drop in dense clouds (however I have visible fps drop at the bigger airports especially on VATSIM). Above posts just inspirate me to ask... maybe I don't need the: [DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti.0] Mode=1024x768x32 ...if I use DX10?
  9. So, now I have: [DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti.0] Mode=1024x768x32 [DISPLAY.Device.NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti.0.0] AntiAlias=1 Mode=1280x1024x32 Anisotropic=1 Should I delete first one?
  10. I'm sorry if this questions appeared earlier... ...is it necessary to delete saved flights and panel states after install SP1b? Lucas
  11. Hi Captains, can you look at my above post? Thanks. Lucas
  12. Hi, on the other hand… I have strange problem with RAAS voice. It is too quiet. Master volume slider is on about 50%, but when I set it to max, save settings and go back to them, slider is back to previous position (50%). Did you meet this? Lucas
  13. I think JS41 is not too bad... for me, VC fps is comparable with NGX/T7 or sometimes even better.
  14. I can't edit previous post, so... I made flight with unlimited frames (PMDG JS41) - generally fps and smoothness of camera movements were good, but stutters (generally in external view) still exist (with frames limiter also exist, both internal or external). Time of textures sharpening is a bit better with frames limit set.
  15. I tried totally unlimited - fps and smoothness was ok but I didn't check what about ground textures blurries (I have to try...) ...and I'm afraid OOM's (perhaps unnecessarily)
  16. I made some short tests yestarday: PMDG777 on apron at LSZH (freeware scenery from avsim library), time of day: dusk. Each test in the same situation and the same weather condition (ASN running). a. only internal limiter set to 60 b. internal limiter set on 60 and Inspector limit set on 30 c. only Inspector limiter set on 30. While testing I made some "head" movements in VC (EZDok Cam.) and panning in external view. For me, option c. is the best. Frames in external view almost still 30 and in VC averages 23-24, rather not less then 20. While flight - time of textures sharpening is acceptable. Although I have stutters sometimes and I don't know how to get rid it of :( (when limit frames in FSX on 30 also have these stutters). Ps. I also use Windowed vsync (Aero on) and "pseudo full screen" mode).
  17. Should I limit frames in two ways? Hm, I have never heard soultion like that... Maybe better way is limit frames to 50-60 only within FSX and leave Inspector limiter off?
  18. Ankh forestalled me... I also have doubt if unlimited setting doesn't cause ground textures blurries (slow time of sharpening textures in external view) ...and... what about OOM? -> I remember that in DX9 there was a bigger chance to get OOM with unlimited frames, but how it looks in DX10? Personally, I have limit 30fps in Inspector...after many tests I decided to set external limit, because I have about 5-6 fps more then in internal limit. I have EZdok camera and changing VC views is much smoother... but time of ground textures sharpenning would be faster... I have a questions to people who has external frame limit or unlimited frames: do you have any issues related to time of ground texture sharpenning? How long do you wait to textures below your aircraft become sharp (in external view)?
  19. Yes, but little issues exist, which I described here: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/421981-vc-shadows-and-pmdg-777/?p=2985809
  20. Hi friends, I have VC shadows in 777 but in my opinion there are a little ragged (but only on some parts of cockipt). Look: For example: on chairs looks ok, but on panels they don't. Is it normal or settings problem? My Fixer settings: Improved Shadows - ticked Reduced falloff with angle - unticked Toned Shadows - ticked Reduce Fade - ticked HD Jet Shadows - ticked Enable shadow boost - 50 Force VC Walls - ticked Surface bias small - 0,04 Surface bias large - default Contrast - 3rd line from left Lucas
  21. Hi friends, I also used DX10 Toolbox on PMDG_737_800WL_VC.MDL file only (didn't touch "LOW" file version) and my DX10Fixer settings are: Improved Shadows - ticked Reduced falloff with angle - unticked Toned Shadows - ticked Reduce Fade - ticked HD Jet Shadows - ticked Enable shadow boost - 50 Force VC Walls - ticked Surface bias small - 0,04 Surface bias large - default Contrast - 3rd line from left ...but don't have VC shadows :( (in 777 it works fine) What should I do? Lucas
