  1. It could also be Saturday or Sunday...
  2. I'm thinking SDK and the SP1C. Perhaps ER variants as well.
  3. I think that it's a perfect time for devs to talk about the future of FS now that their NDAs with Flight are lifted. It's important to look forward and in the right direction. Which Flight is not.
  4. I'd go all out on gear. PMDG socks anyone? No? How about a PMDG onesie?
  5. Fantastic job. I never knew that shine was so important to making the aircraft look so three dimensional.
  6. Just an idea. I'm not expecting them to do anything other than delivering top of the line products. :)
  7. Okay. Now I'm curious. How does PMDG coordinate everything and make such quality products if everybody works at home? Very interested to know how you communicate.
  8. Collin, I sent you a PM regarding website design. Just to let you know. I'm very interested in what you have to say as I am also creating a website with a similar layout. Even if you did not directly contribute to building the website, maybe you could lead me to the right direction.
  9. I wish I knew how much time I put into the NG. But then again, I may not like what I see.
  10. Ah yes. I've played too much Skyrim for my own good.
  11. Holo with grip is the way to go. It still isn't enough for long range but I'm the kind of guy who loves surprising the enemy from behind.
  12. JoelPB94Watch out though, I'm a beast with my FAMAS. :(
  13. I love the MD-11 due to its simplicity. It's a very automated aircraft which gives it a special "personality", so to speak. The only problem is if you're into doing real world flights, the MD-11 is mainly a cargo plane as apposed to the 747. I think I've flown the MD-11 just as much as the 747. You can't go wrong with either, even if the 74 is an older product.
  14. If you have AES, it could be wake turbulence but I don't think that wake turbulence is modeled in either default FSX weather or REX.
  15. Better idea. Each person has their own blog, showing their work area and what they do. Then you put it together and voila! No? Alright then. I'll shut up.
  16. At launch, it was my understanding that there was a PMDG office in Nevada. I might be wrong though.
  17. Here's an idea for the PMDG team:You guys should make a "behind the scenes" video at some point. Many gaming developers do it and why don't you? The video could be a 10 minute tour of the office. Start from the outside and work your way in and introduce each person as well as their job at PMDG. It would be nice for us, your devoted fans, to see what you guys go through when making these products as well as the environment you work in. Not only would this be nice for us but it could strengthen that bond between devs and their fans.
  18. Thanks for the reply. I do hope that it would be implemented soon because boy do I love those approaches.
  19. Quite a while ago, I was told that the Radius to Fix feature during RNP approaches would be implemented in SP1. I haven't looked on the forum much since then and am not sure. Is the RF feature in service pack 1 or is it looked at for a later SP?
  20. A while ago, I asked whether the radial to fix feature in an RNP approach will be available for SP1. I haven't stayed current on these forum for quite a while but I can't find any confimation. So is the RF feature now in?
  21. Well in video games that's different. It's quite noticable in shooters when you have FPS at around 40 or so. I think it has something to do with ghosting.
  22. I did use FS Recorder for those who are wondering. It's amazing how easily one can do a crosswind landing with the HUD even though I feel a tad bit guilty when I use it. In the future, I'll be using the tower view. I might even make a short video explaining to those that are too lazy to read the Flight Crew Training Manual, how to land the bird just like the manual says and just how the pros do it. People tend to forget the flare and touchdown procedure and just do it based on feel.
  23. This is by far my best landing on the NGX thus far. I don't think it gets any better than this. It was a standard flight from Canberra to Melbourne and there just so happened to be a crosswind. Without any autoland, I managed to ease this baby beautifully on the runway. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4NuwtaK3oLs
