  1. Hey guys, just wondering, is there any way I can set my VC viewpoint so I'm by default looking down on the flight displays? I've seen that in Nick's videos, his viewpoint seems like it's set down by default.
  2. Robert said something about 4 or so products coming out in the next couple years. Hmmm...
  3. It should work. Try a different livery?
  4. Oh wow. Still learning my way inside and out of the 737. Thanks a lot though.
  5. New problem. I've encountered this before but with the VATSIM thing fixed, the temperature is -15 C at FL360 when it should be -42 C according to ASE. I get this when I'm offline as well.
  6. Got it fixed, thanks. I had to go under FSCopilot to turn it off. Strange. I don't tell my controller my situation with the weather but I simply clear the weather.
  7. Yes. All weather options are turned off, I however, never used the VATSIM weather option in ASE. Everything's fine when I'm not using FSInn.
  8. I've seen many posts about VATSIM temperatures being high during cruise but I can't figure mine out. I have ASE and use that for my weather. CAVOK on FSInn is turned off. None-the-less, as soon as I let ASE update my weather, in cruise, the temperature shoots up to around 45 C at FL350 causing a number of problems. Any ideas? Again, I have FSInn CAVOK turned off, and I've tried every ASE depiction mode.
  9. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfqWgMQbgI4&lc=KZSr5zZsNQHvB5zp-SE4-5oWMbqnezo8hdNZzAC79Mo&feature=inbox It was a nice approach with a lot of mountainous terrain and I needed to record it.
  10. That's strange. I'm having no issues. The click spot has been extended somewhat because it's hard to see from the captain's view.
  11. Use clear weather, random payload, and 1/3 fuel or so. Then try again. If it's still there, try re installing. Maybe that'll work.
  12. If it was RF capable, how would I set up the radial to fix point?
  13. Yup. That approach did need an RF.Also, Ryan stated that RNP approaches will be covered in the later tutorial in Tutorial 1.
  14. That's what I did. It actually shows the RNAV approach can be selected. I didn't end up keying anything actually.
  15. My apologies. I read a conflicting thread just a few hours back and I thought it was indeed modeled.
  16. Hey fellow simmers, I flew the infamous RNAV approach into KPSP. (http://aeronav.faa.gov/d-tpp/1108/00545RRY13R.PDF) So everything went perfectly until I all of a sudden got an impossible descent warning on my FMC almost right before I turned final (around 3700 feet). The message wasn't there anytime before the flight. I've also set my flaps down in time and made sure that I was on speed. I double checked the FMC with the chart before the flight and everything matched. I also made sure that I set the RNP value to .30 before the T/D. It's frustrating because I absolutely loved the approach but was unsuccessful at the end. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  17. Try to intercept the glideslope and the proper altitude and point that is given on the FMC. If you're going too fast, just manually set your speed. You also want flaps 15 and gears down when you intercept.
  18. Now how exactly can you draw a ring around a waypoint?
  19. Wow. Thanks guys for the quick response. It'll be interesting to try it out on this bird. I've been playing with the failures and I gotta say, the QRH is the handiest and most easy to use manual every.
  20. I really want to do touch and go's in my NGX but I don't know how to set it up. Is there a way to program a route to be in a traffic pattern so that I can work on my landings or do I have to manually fly it crosswind, downwind, base leg, final, etc.?
  21. TrackIR 5. It will change your simming experience.
  22. in an unrelated note. Is it possible to have a zone temp light turn on when it's broken? I accidentally tried to start the engines with the packs on. Could that break something?
  23. Went through the FCOM normal procedure twice. The first time was rough and the second time was exact. I think I know most of it by heart. Fantastic plane. Very happy with it.
  24. I'm thinking of creating a banner for my AVSIM signature. I have no idea where to start and how to do so. I was thinking somebody could send me to the right place to start.
