  1. Thanks very much Jack, Hopefully others that also have this problem will also submit tickets so PMDG will be able to work out why it's happening, after they fix any higher priority stuff. Looking forward to my internet connection stabilising soon and I can do the same.
  2. Hi Jack, Thanks for the reply. If possible, could you submit a ticket as well. It gives PMDG more information to try to fix it and I'm still having some major connectivity problems at my end. Thanks again.
  3. I'm also seeing exactly the same as you Marinus. Have you submitted a ticket? I'm unable to do so as my internet connection is extremely intermittent.
  4. The spoilers definitely deploy for me. They do seem to deploy fractionally slower than on the 737 or 777 though.
  5. Hi Paul, By having disable preload set to "1" (my preferred setting), is it only the preview image that is affected, or does it affect other elements of the 747 simulation in FSX. I haven't purchased the 747 yet but would like to know prior to any purchase. Thanks very much.
  6. Quick question...do the new weather features in SP1D include the ability to populate weather data per enroute waypoint and during the descent in the same way the 777 does? Tim Gyno
  7. Indeed it does Patrick. Pull up the elec synoptic page once you're on the ground after an autoland and see the elec system reconfigure itself to the correct configuration when you turn off both FD. Start up the APU and shut down the engines, it will not interrupt power to the FO side of the aircraft. As I said, you can also perform the same work around by just hitting AP and then AP disconnect. I'm not sure where the problem is but I think it has something to do with the AP and autoland. Tim
  8. I can confirm this action resets the elec system to the correct configuration after an autoland. Additionally, hitting A/P and then A/P disconnect has the same effect. Tim
  9. I can also confirm this how it works for me as well. Tim
  10. Glen, As I have been told on more than one occasion. It's the best thing if you submit a ticket, that way PMDG have more information on which to base a fix. I would encourage you to do so Tim
  11. Have you seen the topic here....Seems it might be the same symptoms. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/448976-fo-cdu-pfd-nd-shuts-off-when-cutting-engines/
  12. In my case they seem to be fine now, I would however appreciate you posting the results of your further enquiry with the PMDG team. Tim
  13. Thanks....I'll be sure to do that.
  14. I also see this behaviour. It would be great if the OP or #sosuflyer could submit a ticket as this may be something related to the aircraft itself rather than a "user" error. Hopefully PMDG will be able to replicate and then fix.
  15. I'm also seeing this now you mention it. Like Julian, I wasn't sure if it was correct behaviour not. I don't think it's related to the AP DISCON either. I would appreciate your further input on this please Kyle and I think Tessa might be onto something regarding the engine shutdown timing and possibly sequence. Tim Gyno
  16. There is no way to stop this behaviour from, FSINN. This is unfortunately the way FSINN works in my experience. I suggest following the advice of VangelisD. Tim
  17. Great work Alex, magnificent. Your fix has worked for me as well (no FTX Global or Vector). Tim
  18. If you get an answer can you please share with us. It's a great destination but it annoys me that the developers are either unwilling or (worse still) incapable of fixing their own product. As I said before, without a fix for this they will not be getting a cent from me in future. Tim
  19. Good on ya Tom. Thanks heaps. Nick Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  20. Tried an approach at dusk overflying VAJJ and experienced the same elevation issues. Oh well, just have to remember not to fly at that time. Also wont be buying anything else from this author again. Tim
  21. I did a similar flight approaching from the direction opposite to VAJJ during midday now and had no problems. I suspect it may have been the usual problem associated with dusk. Will also try the approach at dusk, this time using an approach over VAJJ Tim
  22. You may be on to something. I was approaching from the same direction and was also flying around dusk. I'll try again from the same direction during midday and see if that makes any difference. Tim Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  23. I also have elevation problems but only when flying into VABB. No problems when loading up the scenery from scratch. Have the scenery ordered correctly and no memory or frames problem. Am also not using third party mesh. Can anyone assist. Tim
