  1. This is normally saved as you make the change. Suggest you ask over at the VATSIM (FSINN) forum. Tim
  2. Not sure why people are seeing you as a Cessna, although you should note there are two components to this, your settings and the settings of others. They are interdependent. To answer you question though, you would have to ensure the entries for the B772 model (for example) are duplicated for the B77L model. Tim
  3. Yes, the ones in red. They allow FSINN to recognize B77L as a valid ICAO code. Tim
  4. Yes...that's right, just make sure you configure the aircraft in the ICAO default and custom windows. Because others are using B772 while flying in VATSIM, instead of B77L, I've also made FSINN use the same AI models for B77L and B772 for ease of use. Tim
  5. All you need do is edit the ICAO.cfg to include B77L and it's all working like it should. Tried it across the weekend in the UK and it picked up all the flights with B77L. Tim
  6. Nice one....I was wondering when you might get to the Broome aviation ones given the recent release of FTX YBRM. They look great already. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

  8. Hi, I asked about this exact thing over at the majestic forum and here on avsim. No replies on avsim but got this from another user on the majestic forum. "I asked it about on mail and this is what I got: "Yes, Q400 is a cheap plane made of the Chinese parts. It's systems start all in different sequence, resulting in the bunch of errors and maintenance messages. We are also attempting to simulate that." At first I though they were trolling me but it might actually be true."
  9. Hi all, First off, let me say how much I'm enjoying this aircraft, simply wonderful. Recently, after loading the aircraft and powering the FMC it's giving the message "AHRS Input Fail" after I click "accept" and then click the flightplan button. I don't recall this happening in the first couple of days. It has also given another message from time to time relating to RAIM, however I can't recall the exact message. I'd appreciate any assistance in relation to this.
  10. First flight - YMML to YMLT. Then up north, YHID to YBCS. Tim Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  11. Can't wait to see it, my daughters favorite color. I won't be able to get her away from the sim so I can have a go. Tim Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  12. Great, thanks. I'm eyeing off a couple of Qantas paints If it's the one I'm thinking of John, you may not have enough pink paint in your palette. :-) Tim
  13. Hi Uwe, I had the same problem recently, searched the forum and found these two threads http://forum.avsim.net/topic/394427-747-lnav-deviation/ http://forum.avsim.net/topic/344655-lnav-display-deviation/ The advice was to download and run the Flight 1 registry repair tool. It worked for me. Suggest you consider trying it. Good luck Tim
  14. Thanks flying-bob and andy1975. Appreciate all your help with this.
  15. Thanks very much for the details flying-bob, I really appreciate it. You have inspired me to invest some time to learn about LUA. Thanks again.
  16. Thanks for the quick reply flying-bob. I saw the posts over at the B200 area last night and worked out how to get the temp gauge displaying C. I'll check out your cold and dark LUA tonight. I'm now trying to get the auto ignition toggles to work in a script. They only seem to toggle from Off to On. Not the other way around, which is what I'm looking for. Regarding the pilots mic switch, yes I'm looking for the LUA variable. I'll see if it appears in your cold and dark script.
  17. Definitely the QW aircraft for my money. Tim
  18. I'm hoping someone can help me with a LUA script for the C90. I'm trying to find out what the name/number of the control is that operates the pilots mic switch. I think the variables are either normal or oxygen mask. I'd be grateful if someone could give me a clue as I just can't locate it. Additionally, is it possible to set the outside temperature to C instead of F. I've tried to identify the keypress but can't locate that one either. Appreciate any assistance as I've used the tutorial above and can't seem to find the two controls I'm looking for. Tim
  19. Hi S.Mellah, You are seeing the difference between the degrees magnetic (EFIS) display heading and the degrees true display heading (Avidyne) . You should also note the bearing display in the top right corner of the Avidyne, that will likley display degree magnetic. The standard GPS unit should also display degrees magnetic. Also as superglide17 states, you should also consider any heading variance to compensate for wind. This enables you to follow the correct track with crosswinds. Tim
  20. Hi all, Please excuse my ignorance, but is there any way to package the script up into an executable as I don't use FSUIPC? I already use the one created by wombat for the JS41 and it works like a charm. Thanks in advance. Tim
  21. G'Day Joachim,Try hitting this site http://faq.apollo3.com/ljames/fsinn/vatsim/faq/You will be able to find a solution. I had exactly the same thing. Now solved.Nick
  22. Jeff,I think that is what's supposed to happen. They should light again passing 400ft.Nick
  23. Indeed it does Fred. I've been using TOPCAT for the last couple of years and think its really good for flight planning from weights and limits to runway selection etc.Nick
  24. To calculate the correct derate you could get hold of a program called Topcat. Once the local weather is known it can calculate the correct derate for you. Nick
