  1. well, after re installing FS24 and setting up a new community folder it appears to be working fine.. it does look great!!
  2. Nope, this airport seems to be broken in FS2024. It shows up and it looks great, but it seems nothing can 'see' it. BATC doesn't pick it up, won't load traffic into it and on the BATC map it is blank. Even the Fenix doesn't seem to register its location and you get an error message on the MCDU about checking its location once the ADR's align.
  3. Actually..if its not too off topic..any experience on how the CS 737-200 and 707 work with airhauler and cargo/fuel. I have to admit I was drooling a little bit wathcing the video of the cargo pallets being loaded in the planes lol. I have flown the pmdg J41 (loooove that plane btw) with airhauler quite a bit and although it works, its a little tricky, and you just pretend there is cargo behind you.
  4. I have never noticed weather effecting my pilots in AH; In fact, I would bring my laptop to work and keep them busy flying when I was away from the desktop. (new laptop now, don't have everything back on it yet lol). As far as I can tell, when you are connected your companies flights are injected into FSX and treated just like AI aircraft. Which, much to my annoyance, means they land in any type of weather. I would love to see AI (and myself for that matter) have to hold or be diverted to another airport due to weather.
  5. Al....you are just awesome lol Thanks for the tips for airhauler..gonna try that out, especially getting the rep up because I am just a sadist I guess and I always start on hard mode and it always feels like it takes forever to get it up there. Also..although kind of off topic..can't wait for SimAir, looks like it will be a nice addition to the airhauler type game.
  6. THAT was really cool Agree about the rain effect...if we could get that in FSX while flying :D
  7. Also watching for this. The panel state as you mentioned, the texture flashing, some more functions in the FMC (hold button). And I would love for them to implement the cargo variant of this aircraft (as well as with the NGX). A lot of us Air Hauler users would really appreciate that.
  8. Instead of starting a new topic..I use Air Hauler and can't wait to get the NGX in my fleet..since you brought it up Burns (or anyone else), just wondering how the interface is between AH and the NGX. Thanks =)
  9. Flying the J41 (and loving it), I just really hope they go back and make some fixes and additions...hold switch would rock =pAlso..more cargo support. A lot of simmers are running Air Hauler I think.I don't think there will be a cargo version of the NGX..makes me sad =(777 really never did anything for me..nice plan and all..guess I'm kind of nostalgic, and having grown up flying on 737-200's, DC-9's..I really like the idea of steam gauges and INSBut I would be very happy for a 717, I think that would fit the gap between the j41 and b737 and the larger ones nicely..all my humble opinions of course :)
  10. Have had the CH yoke (with the three quadrants built onto it), and the CH pedals, for a few years..I agree with the other posts that it feels pretty cheap. With the yoke shaft being plastic and the frame around it also plastic, from day one it always felt 'sticky', and was really hard to get centered (elevator), the little 'trim' wheel on the front to the left of the yoke, which only trims the yoke itself (doesn't interface with fs in anyway) is very stiff and also hard to 'center' - although it does help some since the yoke itself sticks so badly. In fact, I have gotten where I almost seem to fly any plane more with that little trim wheel thing than than by using the yoke..which I don't really like at all. And it could be more of a software issue but I have also never been able to really get the aileron trim centered either. It seems very 'spiky' and when I think I get it centered it always starts drifting one way or the other. (could be software or fsx but I have spent more time with fspuic or whatever -paid version- than I would like lol). As for the pedals; they recently stopped working. As I had them longer than the warranty I opened them up. I discovered that the wiring was run in a way that they had continuously been subject to friction around all the moving parts. The wiring itself seemed very thin, and 'shoddy' in appearance. and looked like it was kinda thrown together and just stuffed inside of the housing. I will say that the housing for the pedals is heavy and quite sturdy; its just the wiring and the ...pots?... that looked really cheap. I didn't have a solder so I taped them up the best I could where the wires had broke, and reinforced several places that were about to eat through the wires. I than stuffed everything back together as best I could in a way that looked like it stayed away from moving parts. It has worked okay since than but I fear it won't last forever..if long at all lol.Oh and lastly, one of the tops of the throttle levers broke off way to easily, the body of the throttle coming up to the head is very thin and seems weak, and even super glue wouldn't hold it back together, maybe some epoxy? lol So I'm totally ready to try the Siatek yoke and pedals. Maybe the throttles as well.My experience may not be every ones of course.
  11. I agree with Scandanavian..however, isn't the little switch below the power levers (the 'throttle', the ones with the reverse)..that little switch clicks left than right, isn't it labeled "un-feather"?So after hitting the engine off switch and putting the levers in full reverse- which sets them on the stop locks. When you go to start you click that switch..if you look out the window you will actually see the prop blades moving into a 'neutral' position. Than you can do your engine start. But also as someone mentioned, if you do this and than wait a few mins, they do seem to leave that neutral 'start' position. My procedure..once I have everything set up and and I am ready to start, I pull my levers back to the full reverse again click that switch both directions, pan out the left window and watch the props until they stop moving (it is kinda hard to see, but you will see it)..Now I start my engines. This has prevented me from having aborted starts and having to wait 20mins for the engine to cool off (which seems to take too long? is that realistic?)I know this may be slightly different in procedure from the real thing, but it works well with the PMDG-J41 :)edit - couldn't spell 'reverse' looh one more thing - don't forget to push the levers up out of reverse into the start range as well (although I have forgotten to do this and the engines started)
  12. Sweet!! Can't wait to get home in the morning and try this!!! Thank you so much for putting this together :D
  13. I do all my air hauler flights in the JS41, north east US out of central NYSo no rw flight numbers, but I do love the plane :)
  14. Thanks! That is along the lines I was thinking..I downloaded and I am messing around with ADE, deciding if I want to pay for the prokey? Is that one of the programs you are referring to?One of the things I would like to be able to do is overlay a template in order to help make aprons/taxiways..without having to use exact lat/longs.The other is a measuring tool (doesn't have to be exact)...but so I can be somewhat accurate in my layout...for example to know that I have adequate spacing between taxi-ways ect..
