  1. That's good to read, I hope that the release will also mean that the 737 series will slowly get some more attention again aswell. :-) Sonny,
  2. I don't think this has anything to do with VREF calculations or weight issues. If your calculated and inserted VREF is calculated by the FMC and this speed is used, than it should be correct. I think what Jrschiphol means is that the VREF is far in the red band while flying in a normal landing config. So if you try to get to your VREF or VAPP speed, you get all the warning bells that tell you you're stalling while actually you are not. Regards, Sonny A.
  3. Yes, you are right, I forgot to add a few words inmy sentence, and I put the wrong word in place, it made my sentence look weird. Sorry for that. And I can't seem to edit my reply for some reason. ''APP should not be selected until the following circumstances exist:.'' Was what I actually meant to say. ^_^ Sorry for that. Sonny,
  4. • RNAV (approval required) • GPS (approval required) • VOR approach • NDB approach • LOC, LOC-BC approaches. Are the approaches where you can use IAN (if equipped of course) Normally, IAN is used in place of LNAV and VNAV. Did you also armed APP mode on the MCP? APP should not be selected under the following cirumstances: • the guidance to be used for the final approach is tuned and identified (as needed) • the airplane is on an inbound intercept heading • both lateral and vertical deviation pointers appear on the attitude display in the proper position • clearance for the approach has been received. And having G/S on might come in quite handy of course. ;-) Otherwise, the whole principle of IAN is gone if you ask me. Sonny,
  5. Hello, what Fabo said above me is correct. However, I have the BW, BI etc. for you Since your nickname is PHXRE, I guess you had a jumpseat on the transavia -XRE, so I'll give those. PH-XRE-----al weights in KG BW: 39,063KG BI:43,3 Catering: 774 KG index +2. STD B737 3 CA: 225 KG index +0,9 Transavia also uses distribution papers, however I do not have them in digital form, you can PB me if you want those. Sonny A.
  6. Reason that you can't find a 737-600 in KLM colours is that KLM never had any -600's in real life. ;-) You can always try to make one yourselve. Or you could always still fly a 737 classic because KLM had those (but those are already retired). Sonny A.
  7. LOL, just saying that PMDG got their data from Boeing doesn't mean that it has to be perfect. So that's not a valid argument. You can only say that he has it wrong with a valid argument. Because any company can say that it's correct within a percentage of 0.0000000001%.Sonny
  8. Just making another night flight with the NGX and I tought I would post this shot. :-Dhttp://i1103.photobucket.com/albums/g477/lexsis1/2012-1-10_18-31-18-964.jpg
