  1. The width of the seat is 45 cm. With both armrests down the total width is 67.5 cm.
  2. I built a full-size A320 cockpit two years ago and was initially looking at using truck seats but ultimately couldn't find something that I thought would work for my setup (the seat is quite narrow and the adjustable armrest is unique in size). So I did end up buying replicas, which are quite expensive indeed, but haven't regretted my decision. I have seen other builders modify their seat by adding a custom-built armrest. That might be your best option. Here is an example (in French): https://www.jl-a320.com/2023/04/10/les-accoudoirs/ Good luck with your project! 3. Alright, sorry for the confusion, but I realized I had recently moved my ORBX library to a new drive. I thought about it as just sceneries but it does include apparently quite a bit of AI liveries. Problem solved (as often, self inflicted problem). Back to more than 4,600 liveries.
  4. Thanks for the quick follow up. Checking the UI, both Automatic and Prioritize were Off (unchecked). If I check Prioritize then I get another 50 liveries or so less. I cycled both options On then Off, just to be sure, but no difference (still getting 100's of liveries less than before). It seems to me that this change in the number of detected liveries might be due to a recent version change. Should I go back to previous versions and try (even if I understand they wouldn't work with Real Traffic)? I had found the AirlineData.txt file quite useful to get a quick feel for what airlines/aircrafts I might be missing. I guess I can use the AI_liveries.xml file as it has the same information although in a more verbose form.
  5. I am using P3Dv5 and had around 4,600 liveries detected in the past. I added a few today (as I have done many times) and when I ran the Liveries search I noticed that the number of liveries dropped to less than 3,000. Any idea of what could have caused that? I don't see anything special in the error files. Also I miss having the AirlineData.txt file. Any reason why it was removed, or maybe there is a new place I can find the same info? Thanks,
  6. For some reason Automatic never worked for me. It always gives me Error 49. I have tried with a list of airport folders or with the list all empty. Same issue. When trying this (which on my system is "C:\Prepar3D v5") it gives me more than 6,000 airports, which I am pretty sure includes all the default ones. Anyway, I understand this is a moot point as v31.15.5 now allows 20 folders! Thanks for adding that.
  7. Thanks for suggesting a workaround. I understand that it would do the trick, still it would be nice to have less of a manual process and also save that hard drive space. Do you think it would be possible to exclude the folder containing the default airports, which in P3D I am assuming is \Scenery or maybe just allow the definition of an exclude folder in the paramteres.xml file? Just a suggestion. Thanks,
  8. The addon is indeed from PKSIM. Thanks for suggesting a workaround and providing an update so quickly!
  9. I wanted to use the learner to build a parked updates xml file without having to run the sim. I have done this numerous times before but now I noticed the xml file for the selected airport gets deleted every time you launch the learner program and it only saves the new updates for the current session without adding to the previous information. This is with SKBO (payware) and P3D. Here is what the end of the log looks like: >>> 19:09:37 The parking airport is SKBO (BOG) ===> ===> deleting parked_updates\SKBO.xml Airport file read from thirdparty_airports\SKBO.xml for Eldorado Intl, PSXT_P3D-31.15.3-Aug 5, 2022 supplier: Unknown 3rd-Party altitude: 8360 home_base: max_two: num_parkpos: 122 38 with AFCAD airlines info (31%) auto_correct: 0 days: 0 real_only: 0 not yet updated Close window button clicked, closing down ... QNH Reader has stopped Exiting: USER CLOSED SIM 19:11:01 User closed Learner 19:11:01 3 updates for SKBO (BOG) Traffic Reader has stopped 19:11:01 parked_updates\SKBO.xml saved RUNNING=false MAIN_WINDOW_X=-779 MAIN_WINDOW_Y=525 Sat Aug 6 19:11:02 2022 <<< Is there something special I need to do to be able to run the learner multiple times with the same airport without losing the "learning" from previous runs?
  10. I have been using PSXT for a year or so and have always used a list of addon folders for airports (i.e. not the automatic feature). Note that I have P3D installed to a custom folder and numerous addon airports are installed in the main P3D folder, in their respective folder (FlyTampa, Simmarket, FlightBeam, etc.). Accordingly one of the airport folders defined in the parameters.xml file was the root P3D folder. It had worked well for me but stopped working with a recent upgrade. The new third-party airports folder now seems to contain all the same files as the stock airport folders. The reason I had to use the main P3D folder and not the individual subfolders is because I have more than 10 folders (in total, not just under the main P3D folder) containing addon airports. I was able to temporarily work around this issue by only selecting some of my addon airport folders but I'd like to be able to have them all as you can imagine. Is it still possible to define the main P3D folder as an addon airport folder in the parameters.xml file? If not, would it be possible for the scan to skip the default airports in that folder? Alternatively, could the use of more than 10 addon airport folders be supported? Thanks in advance,
  11. Just a quick update to report that I have not seen the problem in the last several weeks.
  12. Thanks to both of you for being so responsive. Yes I am more than happy to cooperate on this issue. I have downloaded the debug version and will satrt using it tomorrow. Cheers, Thierry
  13. Hello, I have been working with Balthasar on the following issue: - On the PSXseecon app, after some time working just fine, I see the "Real Traffic" indication in red and have no traffic in the sim - On the RealTraffic screen I see that the aircraft position is not updated and all aircraft positions are frozen - If I close RealTraffic and then restart it, after the usual initialization, everything goes back to normal (without restarting PSXseecon) I sent Balthazar the log files for RealTraffic and he asked me to post the PSXseecon log file on this thread. I am attaching it below. Thanks,
  14. This looks incredible. Sending a PM now. Thanks, Thierry
  15. Actually, regarding FPS, I have noticed a substantial drop at KAUS between v4 and v5. Anyone else has the same issue? This is with the same plane, weather, and graphic settings. I go from 30 FPS in v4 to 15 or less in v5.
  16. Bert, Thanks for the quick reply. Sorry I missed it initially. Just sent you a PM. Very much looking forward to it and curious to learn about the implementation. Thanks,
  17. I got this installed and love having the GTN 750 integrated in the MFD. Now, I built my home cockpit around the SR22 and have 2 15" touch screens, one for the PFD and one for the MFD. Unless I am missing something it seems that this modification does not allow for the MFD to be used as a pop up window (and thus I can't move that window to my touch screen). I don't see any additional window when selecting the MFD or using Shift+2. I am somewhat familiar with panel.cfg files but couldn't find a way to make this work. Does anyone know how to have the modified MFD available as a pop up window? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Note that I don't mind the MFD display in the virtual cockpit being blank in that configuration as my main monitor only displays the view above the glare shield (PFD and MFD being displayed on the 2 touch screens). Thanks!
  18. I use the GTN750 on a touch screen and have no issues. The only thing I can think of is to make sure you configure your touch screen to move the mouse and (left) click when you touch the screen (not just move the mouse). I did not have to change any configuration for the GTN itself.
  19. I am so glad I found this thread. I had the exact same issue: updated my computer to a new motherboard (ASUS Z390), CPU (i7-9700K) and GPU (RTX 2070)... and got only 5 (five!) fps in the Carenado Cirrus SR22. Default aircraft gave me 150 to 180 fps, and high-end aircraft (737, 787, Q400) around 40 to 80 fps. This is with Windows 10 Home edition. This was happening in both P3D v3.4 and v 4.4. It was the only plane to exhibit this issue (it is the only Carenado plane I had re-installed so far). After uninstalling the RealTek audio driver (and keeping the nVidia HD audio driver) my frames are back to 80-some fps! This is with pretty high settings (roughly one click short of all sliders to the right). So, thank you to everyone who contributed to this thread!
  20. Thanks for the quick reply. I just registered again and got the email telling me that my account needs to be approved by an administrator. In the past the process would just stop there. Let's see if this time it is different. Thierry
  21. Just so that I post support question in the right place, where can I find the official Eaglesoft SR22 support forum? I believe I tried to get access a few times but never got any email in return. Maybe I am just confused about where to go. Thanks, Thierry
  22. Yes you can use mouse macros in P3D. I recently moved completely to P3D, so that's what I am currently using. Thierry
  23. I have the Eaglesoft latest version and I believe one of the configurations includes the GTN 750. If I remember correctly I had to edit the panel config file to make it work though (had a blank screen otherwise). It does work very nicely as I have combined the GTN 750 and the autopilot on a dedicated 12" touch screen, so the immersion is perfect with the GTN 750. I also have the Carenado SR 22 and I personally do prefer the Eaglesoft version with the Avidyne over the G1000. In my mind the design (ease of use) of the Avidyne is cleaner. At one point in time I had the Flight1 Avidyne Student simulator (which comes without a 3D model) integrated with the 3D model from Eaglesoft. From a functionality perspective it was really good with the detailed moving map and additional features. The challenge I had was the relatively low update rate of the Avidyne, which is fine, but created a repetitive stutter on the main external view. Note that I have a relatively high end machine but use a total of 4 screens (1 for external, 2 for PFD and MFD, and 1 for GTN + autopilot). When I recently finished building my SR22 cockpit, and with the GTN 750, I decided to keep the standard Eaglesoft version (and typically have the MFD on the engine page). One nice small feature of the Eaglesoft model is that you can assign physical buttons and knobs to their virtual counterparts (using mouse macros in FSUIPC). This was important to me as I recreated the dashboard and electrical panel in my cockpit. Have fun, Thierry
  24. It looks like the problem must have been on my side then, but I am not sure what it was. Anyway, I am up and running now. Thanks for your quick reply! Thierry
  25. Hello, I seem to have a similar issue. I finally built a new computer and needed to reinstall RC4. I did use the automated process to request a new key (twice) and sent a separate email, with no reply so far. I did check my email spam folder and it is empty. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Thierry
