Max I can seem to get to is 4.6, any notch higher and I get warnings straight from bootup. But thats mainly because I don't have the greatest mobo, a gigabyte z68. If I knew 6 months ago I would have got the P68 Extreme and I'd really be able to use the i7 to its full potential.

I just bought aerosoft f-16 today and I like it, however I want to start flying it in Vatsim but I have no idea about the procedures, callsigns, are there flight plans? Is it VFR? Speed restrictions, the dialog used.Can anyone give me some help please.Thank you

I just got the 70% off one year subscription for FSGensis and I'm trying to find some UK mesh, does anyone have know if they have any UK mesh to download or is it just included in the 'World Terrain Mesh' download?Also, what's the difference between 76.4m, 19.1m, 9.6m?

I I just watched your video and when you got to the sim part, I noticed when you were panning on the outside of the aircraft you kind of got like a dagger mark through the runway, only shows up for a split second though, I get that on my machine now and I'm trying to avoid it by buying a new monitor. Anyway, I'm asking you if you get any of those 'tearing' kind of images sometimes when panning or is it smooth all over? It occurs as you are panning around the threshold of the runway.

Okay so I've been simming for some years now but never considered buying any mesh, basically because I never thought about it. I have UTX, GEX but it doesn't really count. Anyway, I need help. After doing much research I still haven't come to a conclusion and need some help.First, I read somewhere a guy saying how Tileproxy for fsx is great because it has its own autogen or something so you can put the slider autogen in fsx to 0 and get great frames and also it looks good too. Anybody able to back that up.Secondly, so far I feel like FSGensis is my best option but I'd like some opinions from people, does it affect frames (not much of a big deal for me because I have an i7 @ 4.6 but still). How are the looks?Thirdly, FS Global. I think we can say its probably between FSG and FSGen, what do you think of global and is it better, worse. Flaws or positives.Its a lot to ask but I know people here are always willing to help. I have that problem but its because of my HD TV. I've been told by numerous people that to get the best visuals, I need a desktop monitor, so I'm saving up $300 for a 27" ASUS 2m HD monitor that will give me the crisp visuals I need on my mean machine.

Just curious as to what the slats in the MD11 do. I just started getting into flying it (PMDG MD11) but never really knew what the slats did, hopefully I can get some good knowledge from avsim.

I have decided I don't really want to have to completely uninstall fsx and move it to the C drive because of how long it takes, But I do still want FS9, can I install fs9 straight to the C drive or do i HAVE to uninstall fsx first and move it also?

I have a question about the md11 by PMDG. Earlier, I was on approach into Miami from Sau Paulo, on decent, I had all the speeds and altitudes down in the CDU for which I needed to be at the waypoints. For some reason, the plane isn't listening to what I want my speeds to be, I was at 4500 and I had down in the CDU to be at 210kts, for some reason it was staying at around 230kts. And even worse, on final the speed just remained at 202kts, when my app speed was supposed to be 166kts. Can anyone explain this. I did hit the PROF button once so I don't know if that maybe messes the speed up or something or maybe makes the plane maintain the speed you were on when i hit the PROF button...i don't know. So I'm hoping for some help on this one.The flight was a cargo flight.

Why are there trees in my airport asphalt? I'm parked at ELLX and I see this....Also, you can see the weather I have right now, I use activesky 6.5. The weather in the picture looks great, fun to fly in. However when I takeoff, after about 400ft it just goes clear blue in an instance and if you look outside there are no clouds or mist. Why does this happen?

I agree, Ben. I bought Airsimmer for FS9 back when I had a terrible machine and it destroyed my frames. Now I'm using FSX and so can't use it and instead use the Airbus X. Once their 'extended' edition comes out, it should be a great aircraft.

Before I get judged on my flying. Don't notice the plane, I was just larking about because I bought the latinvfr KEYW scenery and was checking things out and noticed these weird square like textures on my waters. Does anybody know what it is and how to get rid of it?Thanks a lot.

FScamp, its been a common issue that many fs users have encountered with older wilco products like the 737, they didn't script their products correctly and so users couldn't fly the 747 or md-11 when having a wilco product installed. That's why i was asking if anybody knew if the newer products they have created have fixed their .dlls

Has the new wilco airbus evo2 (a330-340 etc) sorted the .dll thing out now so PMDG doesn't crash?

I've been having this issue for a while in the 744, however its not really an issue, just annoying. In the cockpit, whenever I turn on the dome light or look to my left on the arm rest, the textures kind of basically start flickering. I'm not sure how to fix the issue. Anybody know?Here's a pic, imagine that shade is flickering constantly.

Has the Wilco V2 improved its exterior textures?

I was thinking this earlier, how the heck is there still not one good A330-340 model out there for FSX yet? I mean, airbus is one of the key long haul companies out there, virgin atlantic, lufthansa, swiss air, singapore, they all use airbus as their primary long haul aircraft. How come no FSX developer besides Wilco has really developed a knock out airbus for us? I don't use Wilco's because of the PMDG fault they have, and to be honest, the exterior model is horrific. But anyway, does anybody know why?
