Hi guys, need some help since I could not find (i' m sure it's out their) the answer to following: Start cold and dark turn on battery connect ground power and verify that AC 400 hz available turn both IRS from OFF to align the right IRS does not extinguish the "on DC" light in a few seconds the bip-bip sounds only when i turn the APU on and connect power does the bip bip go away why? what am i doing wrong, why is the on DC light stays on when ground power is connected? I have attached two photoes of switches status Thanks Moshe

Folks Let me start by saying that i use legal copy of the plane (since i read that such event happened to users of pirated software) Unfortunately two times when loading from COLD and DARK (the original) i saw flows in the cockpit, this only happened twice and not once when starting from the demo flights any explanation ?   7. Hi Folks in Tutorial #2 page 52 it calls to set the transition level of EHAM using the DES FORECAST page So I did and i don't see any response or any change. In FCOMv1 document (page 250 pdf) under Entering Descent Forecasts the last action to be take is: EXEC key ......Push Observe MOD DES FORCASTS page changed to ACT I did not see any change after pressing EXEC, is it modeled ? should i get anything? where?   8. Hi I have noticed that on the VC overhead panel the flood light is ON while on the 2D it's OFF the flood light control is OFF How can it be ? what do I do wrong? :( See attached screenshots Moshe
  9. The procedure itself is clear and indeed if you reach the MDA at D6.3 you must start the miss approach to climb to OEV D1 DME , my question is regarding the discontinuity u get after the RW26, should i delete it? how? if i leave it in place do i need to do somting during the miss aproach?
  10. The precedure I mentindes is LOC/DNE EAST to Innsbruck runway 26. Which has an instrument approach and avery chalenging miss approach that i have refered to. For some reason the fact that first point of the miss approach D1 ( which i also know that dtands for 1 DME :) is also the last point of the approach cuasses the discontinuity. I have triied to correct. The discontinuity but did not succeed therefor the question was asked. So why not check the procedure ? Generalities did nothelp me.

All After downloading the current Navigraph charts i find that the altitude restrictions at IVLUT have been removed and that the LOC/DME EAST and SPECIAL LOC/DME EAST approaches have both changed to D19, D17, D14, D9, D6.3 ,D5 , D4.2, D1, RW24 Since i am new with the FMC my question now refers to the the right way to reflect the go aground procedure back to RTT. I understand that due to the fact that D1 appears twice (one before the RW24 and also immediately after the RW24) this cusses the discontinuity. If i remove D1 that is part of visual missed approach and leave only ABNDB and RTT is this the right way to take ? Moshe

  13. Hi I tried following tutorial #2 to the word and got some differences between those that described in the tutorial and what I got. I am using AIRAC 1207 and that might explain some differences (like having a new waypoint named PIGAB between ELMOX and DKB ) but does AIRAC explain new waypoints in the final approach to LOWI (OEV19 and OEN17 instead of OEV18 and OEV16 with new heights) ? After I entered all the waypoints and went into the first LEGS screen I see in the tutorial that I should have seen height restriction of 6000 ft at IVLUT but on my FMC I see no restriction. And finally and more important I see route discontinuity after RW26 which I cannot eliminate that does not appear in the tutorial (page 30 ) At this point I also see that I do have only 8 pages of LEGS instead of 9 in the tutorial I understand that the part after RW26 is probably the MISSED APPROACH, should it say so? Can you look at the screen shots attached and help me fix it? Thanks Moshe
  14. Hi I think i found a tiny typo on page 56 It says the CAB/UTIL and IFE PASS SEAT switches are to the left of the BAT switch but they are to the right Moshe

Hi KennethI see in the nvidia that the graphics driver is 280.26. and the maximum resolution i get is 3915X1024 it does not allow me to select higheri don't know the cards and how to roll anything back. regarding fsx i know i can operate it in a window mode but the resolution is the problemMoshe
  16. HiI have two GTX 580 cards and three monitors. two of which are HD. How can use the two HD monitors to spread the FSX display while having the third for maps?I have tries activation of the SLI but that resulted a spread on all three monitors with maximim resolution of about 3900 pixels wide which are what two HD monitors need but this was spread across threee monitors thereby reducing the total resolution/Can anyone help ?Moshe

HiI"m a new-by , but after SP1 and following Tom Risager's manual step by step , i do not get any calculated Vref from the FMC. i can put them manually but no automatic calculationI attached the screen shots of all relevant FNC screens,.   21. The problem i noticed are transperant areas / I have loaded an E lAL livery and the problem does not appear there.Can it be that the original liveries were not fixed ? how can i reload them?RegardsMoshe Epshtain

  23. Hi I have two nvidia GTX 580 cards and 3 monitors two are hd 23" and one 20" pc monitor . I would like to spread the ngx on the 2 hd and use the third monitor for mapsHow should i connect the 3 monitors and 2 cards? Should i use sli?I managed to connect all 3 as one spred of 3900 pixels wide and no more . Need helpMoshe
