yes it is strange- tried all sorts of things but cant max it out so it runs smooth. Will wait for SP1 b4 i try again

After playing about since release of the NGX i came to the conclusion that most my CTD;s were caused by my own greed!! ie wanting the highest settings, the most extreme power etc etc etc Now i have got the balance!! look glorious and runs smooth with no problems hence i say my issues were with myself being to greeedy!!!! thought i would share that with you!! bit of a useless post but hey, there u go! ps, ok i couldnt resist, but the ONLY thing i wish for now, is....turbulence!!! I;m not that greedy:P Kye

hmm i have been following this post with great interest! and it seems you got a good result - I am one of those that is a bit scared to play about with textures etc, but by the sounds of it you managed quite easy - is there any way you can step by step what you did exactly so that I can give it a go? That would be great!! Kye

yes it happens sporadically with me too...just hit 'refresh aircraft ai' in ASE and it will be fine

looks great!! how do you get the plane to look so 'smooth'! Mine is a bit shimmery? still a few ragged edges and on 2048x1152 res? UT planes look much smoother than the actual PMDG - do I have an incorrect setting then somewhere? ThanksKye

Not sure if i missed something here on the forums, tried to do a search but came up with nothing - basically i have seen SS's and videos of users and u can see the wing from looking over and behind in the VC?Tried all sorts of zoom settings etc, but still cant manage to see the wing tips when i look over my shoulders! Is this available for TRACK IR users only? - something i am getting in a couple of weeks Thanks Kye

+2! since my earlier post when i reverted back to the RTM - no problems at all....been a week now and lots of flights..... they cant deny hotfix 3 hasnt caused issues....I will only install SP1 when users like ureselves sayu got no problems:P Kye

Right!!! Think i have some Quality progress here regarding CTD's and on final!So after this morning having 3 ctd's on final approach i played around with some things and re read the introduction manual.I flew twice to LHBP this morning and had same ctd on approach. Also at EDDP. . Flew to LOWW with no problems, and just now completed a flight back to LHBP with NO problems on approach. This is what I did : 1. I removed the FSUIPC.cfg file from modules folder in fsx as stated in the introduction manual.2. I updated my video card to the latest driver3. I went trhough my fsx.config file and made sure everything suggested in the manual was there, and also did the config editor from the link in the intro manual ( i did this first time i installed 737bgx and had no probs till hotfix 3 - unisntalled and had base original bgx installed but still the ctd on approach happened. Not sure if this helps anyone but for me it has worked, I was initially suspecting it could have been the LHBP and EDDP scenerys from aerosoft, but after now landing back at LHBP with no probs that removes that out of the equation. I dont know which of the above 3 made it work.....but I will stick to this routine of removing fsuipc.cfg before each flight ( as it remakes itsself once u start fs). I didnt need to reduce autogen or dynamic scenery etc kept them as i have always had them since i got this pc = v high... Like I said hope this helps people.... Kye
