  1. Yeah thanks for that, it's usually the method I do. I just hit HDG SEL when I'm over a fix, just wondered it there was a way of doing it on the FMC. Interesting about your point about the fix page, I'll need to have another read up on that. Cheers again
  2. How do you do this? Can someone be kind enough to teach this biff. I've tried looking through FCOM and the training manual but to no avail. Thanks Craig.
  3. Ah I didn't noticed that and hadn't tried it yet, but thanks for telling me. I see your logic! Haha yes a biff is not a compliment. More a jovial insult :-pThanks again
  4. Really good, detailed 'checklist' ;-) I don't mean to pick holes as its exactly what I need as an 2month old / 30hrs newbie, and I want to know when's the best point to remove, but you haven't included remove ground power at any point. I presume it's after APU Start, and for obvious reasons before push back unless you wanna take a GPU for a walk/drag. Like I say I don't want to pick holes and I know you've pushed out a few updates but it's just so your aware. Thanks and well done for the Checklist.Edit: unless I'm being a biff and missed it, then I'm sorry. :-)
  5. Thanks for that, yeah I'll go have a sneak peek and see what it's saying. Thanks
  6. I had that problem a few weeks ago, simple fix turn off wx by default in FSInn control panel. as I and many others experience, you may get dramatically changing wind directions during the climb. See below. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/358292-cant-make-crz-level/page__fromsearch__1
  7. I concur track ir5 is a must! When, for whatever reason you have taken mic/headset off, you find yourself movin roun the VC with the hat switch and you still move you head... You sit and think to yourself "##### am I doing haha!"
  8. Ok I have an ATI Radeon 43- something something. Ok so in checking those boxes is that in fsx graphics menu's? Complete biff with computer stuff at the extent! Thanks
  9. Very inexperienced question, but how do you make your graphics card control everything? Craig
  10. Haha I know what you mean whiteknuckle, they must have shares in every computer company in the world cause they know when people buy this they are going to want better computers! God damn them!
  11. That's guys for your response. I just love flying the v world and really want a better system. My little dual core core system which runs not bad, but as I get familiar with addon's to heighten the realism, REX2.0 and EZDOK, it's starting to get slow. Thanks again. Time to get saving!!
  12. Does anyone use any of the Gladiator PC's, more specifically this PC here. Just wondering how FSX and more importantly the NGX holds up?Any feedback would be great thanks in advance.
  13. Thanks everyone again for your support, I'll have a little think and trial and error session and see what happens. Craig
  14. Wow thanks everyone for your responses. I have also bought REX yesterday as it was half price through December and I must say I'm impressed. It is a FPS eater for my little dual core system (with a view of upgrading soon) but it seemed to have made things alot better looking... I like! So would you suggest using Rex and disabling FSInn weather all together or just above FL240? Thanks again everyone for respondingCraig
  15. Yeah that's right! I thought it was weird but I thought it was due airflow over the pitot's causing heat? Is there anyway of countering that issue? I fsinnThanks for the response!
