I paid but didnt received the 777 :T
But I have to agree, that this is very much frustrating. Buying a product and to not have it. And 90 bucks is a lot. It's probably worth it, but still it's a lot of money for at least a few of us. You all remember how long we've been waiting for release, right ? See, since release finally now I can afford buying the 777, and bang I am not able to use it because there are issues between PayPal and pmdg. I am a patient person, but this is really a mess. Re-thinking the payment methods is surely a win. PMDG should remove the option paying with "PayPal Express Checkout" if its not working properly, and offer the PayPal standard payment option only, instead. Or any other payment method than credit card or PayPal ... Just my two cents .... while still waiting. :(

I paid but didnt received the 777 :T
Why am I not surprised ? I am having the same issue. I purchased the pmdg777 via PayPal today. I got the confirmation e-mail from PayPal and from pmdg. When I click on the download link, I get the message that I am not permitted to view this order. Ok I thought, maybe that's because I was not logged in to my pmdg account, while paying with PayPal. So I logged in to my account at pmdg, which is llinked with a differnt e-mail than my PayPal e-mail, though. But no matter what, the download link I got from pmdg is a dead link. I have no permission to view this order. Now while writing this, I found out, PayPal causes problems when the PayPal Express Checkout was used for payment. And that's exactly what I did. .... :( Ok, I already submitted a support ticket ... Hopefully this is gonna be solved soon ... http://support.precisionmanuals.com/News/35/continued-problems-with-paypal.aspx

Google Has Ruined YouTube
Yes, Adblock plus is not bad, I am using it mostly and it certainly helps getting rid of ads on a website. But, using it on youtube FS videos definitely causes stutters, that's at least my experience. I was wondering for years why my youtube videos get stutters, while the original file is running just perfectly. Leads to the conclusion, ads are causing stutters, even when Adblock Plus is activated. By default Adblock Plus is activated on Vimeo videos, too. And still no stutters on the video. Downside of Vimeo: - buffering/loading time of HD1080p videos takes longer - the Vimeo free account is very limited (no HD embedding on other websites, 500mb upload, weekly). That's why I purchased the Vimeo Plus option. (HD embedding activated, limited to 5GB upload, weekly). And I so much do not regret it.

Google Has Ruined YouTube
I am already porting over my videos to Vimeo. It is better, the quality of the clips is almost like the real thing. No ads, no stutter, no corrupted uploads .. and last but not least, Vimeo doesn't change looks and features every few weeks, and messes up the hard work of video producers ... bye bye youtube ... oh sorry, bye bye Google .. youtube died a long time ago, already.

Panning camera angles
This is a very complicated way, but the only one I can think of by now, without using EZdok ...- FSRecorder ... (freeware)- download and install it- load a flight- save that flight- fly and record the flight, give it a filename when promted- load the flight again after recording- press "play as traffic", choose the recorded file- back in FSX, press "record"- now you have your first recording displayed, follow that 1st plane, fly along side, then pass it ..- when finished stop the playback, and stop the recording, give the 2nd recording a filename when asked for it ..- load again the saved flight- now in FSRecorder press "Advanced Play"- choose the 2 recordings- decide which one is the "user-plane" (take the 1st recording)- now the 2 recordings should be displayed- choose a camera view, preferable a view that doesn't show the user-plane .. (wing view ..? turn the view away from the user aircraft towards the passing aircraft)- now just wait that the 2nd recorded airplane passes by ...Of course you can do that on ground as well.. in case you want ground shots ..You could as well use Bob, the walking guy from ORBX ... :)But I would suggest buying EZdok, anyway .. Less work and by far better results ... I know it's expensive, but since I got it, I don't want to miss it, and my conclusion is, it's worth every € I spent on it ...Hope that helped ...Alex

Ice Pilots NWT
My first video in 2012 is dedicated to the canadian aviation TV series - Ice Pilots NWT -Very special thanks go out to Jenny Bins, she did the voice-over splits for this video...!http://www.jennybins.de/Are you interested in a female voice-over for your video and/or product ..?Don't hesitate to contact her via her website ...!15 minutes for an FSX video is a lot, I know. But when I work on such a big project, you can be sure to get something special. I hope you enjoy every single minute as much as Jenny and I enjoyed doing it for you.So, let the HD buffering process first, to enjoy the video at its best.===============================PLEASE NOTE :This is a pure fictional story, none of the stories, as shown in the video did ever happen in reality. The idea of making this video was more an attempt to adapt and tribute to my favourite aviation related TV series. No harm was intended. Ever.safe skies ..!Alex

My First Forum “BANNED” ORBX
oh well.. I don't know if I am understood right ..my english .. well ... not really at its best ... :pardon:we have a saying in Germany ... the way you shout in the forest, the same way the forest echoes out your shout ...I hope this all turns out good .. I love using orbx products, and I surely hope they will be able to keep on creating the sceneries, it's not all bad in the forums and I faced some good support there, too... At my place everything worked just fine with orbx products, and I (almost) never needed any support, so far ...I am just posting the purely orbx related videos there, and that's it .. One or two posts of mine have been deleted, they weren't within the terms of forum rules, but I got messaged by orbx officials, (at least in one case). So, I can't complain .. ... the more sadly it is, to see others have different experiences, and got deleted with no reason. Now I am scared in a way ... checking every few minutes whether I already got deleted or not ...

My First Forum “BANNED” ORBX
Hello everybody ..I even don't know, am I new to this forum..?? I do already have a profile picture here, it's even the same as it (still) is on the orbx forum ....Just some thoughts on this ..I didn't notice all the bans from orbx forums, until a friend told me so .. well, yeah the word spreads like a bushfire. On one hand I am shocked, and I feel very disappointed, I always loved doing the videos for orbx, their work on the sceneries is amazing, and I got the sceneries for free, which I appreciate and agreed upon. But don't let us forget, orbx got first class advertising for their product for free, too .. For FS products, there simply is no better advertising, than a promo video or review video. And it is sad to see, how long term supporterts and customers are being treated. On the other hand, I don't expect orbx to be my friend, and that's indeed what orbx officials clearly state, I guess. When it comes that Mr Venema needs a video to promote his product, he will get one. If he likes it, fine. And if not, that's fine, too ...(example given) If I want to put a Tecnam Sierra into orbx scenery for an unofficial orbx promo video, then I don't care if that's ok with him, and his Lancair, and I will do so without even asking ... as long as he does not pay for the video. As soon as he's willing to pay my efforts and talent, he will be King, and can order a video, customized at his needs. If needed even with a female sexy voice-over, praising the product. The same counts vice versa. If I buy a product, then I can expect to get support, if something does not work as announced. I don't know exactly the "global rights", but in Germany, if I don't get support for a "broken" or not properly functioning product, I claim my money back. And it's my damn right to get support or the money back. This is a purely business related thing. No friendship wanted, nor required ...And still... there is an other way. The other way would be, so simple as it is, communicate kindly..! Talk to people just as you want people to talk to you ..Deleting posts, without even a warning, or a personal note, is definately the wrong way, and I've experienced the kind way as always to be better ..(example given) orbx officials don't want me to use a Tecnam Sierra in the (unpaid) promo-video..? Fine, if they kindly ask me to not use it, as it's an competing product, I can do that favor ...!so simple is that ...

Track IR and Prepar3d
Thank you Rob ...well, that's pretty frustrating.. As a video producer I do use EZdok's world camera a lot, and the FSRecorder-tool by Matthias Neusinger, which does not work at all in P3D, too... Two of the best and most useful addons ever developed for FSX do not work properly or at all in Prepar3D .... That's not an option for me, and makes Prepar3D still pretty useless for me... sadly...Alex
