November 10, 201312 yr I'd just like to take the time to vent my frustration at Google and what they've done to YouTube, attempting to turn it into a social network, which is a utter failure. I can no longer reply to anyone at all, not at least without jumping through a lot of ridiculous and unnecessary hoops. I'm going to have to take a very hard look at what I do with my next video, and that hard look is already eyeing Vimeo. What I tell my 25k+ subscribers is a different story. In case you missed it... http://mashable.com/...omments-crisis/http://www.nbcnews.c...ogle-8C11556258http://www.forbes.co...be-integration/http://www.theguardi...ount-to-comment Bryan Ott
November 10, 201312 yr I noticed the new Google + crap spreading around YouTube. Will Google ever learn? Leave YouTube like it was. Remember when you could rate videos 1-5 stars instead of like and dislike? i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
November 10, 201312 yr It just gets worse and worse with every update. Even the funny top comments are gone now. Thanks, Kevin L
November 10, 201312 yr It took me a bit of mucking about to figure out why I had two different accounts that it made for me. It's been a disaster using youtube for a week but I have since found I can get my original profile out of the three I somehow now have by choosing from a drop down on the top right the option to switch account. Before I found that I couldn't make comments anymore without creating a channel. I was worried all my uploads had gone as I thought I already had one.. Hmm, now I read the articles posted I see this is a different issue, just another one on top of all the others to annoy people
November 10, 201312 yr Much worse, Google shut down reader and I no longer read blogs. There simply isn't anything as simple and good for blog reading. So, when they did something right they closed it down. Reminds me of a certain software company that used to make flight simulators... Simmerhead - Making the virtual skies unsafe since 1987!
November 10, 201312 yr Agree completely. To the point where I`m about to pay for a vimeo subscription. Youtube has screwed up a lot of my older videos, pixelated transitions and stutters. The google+ crap is the last straw. Youtube has put me of making FSX videos with all this nonsense. I`ll still upload there to keep my subs happy but its not my first choice anymore. November 10, 201312 yr YouTube forced me to create a Google+ account. When I tried to delete that account, my YouTube account was also deleted (turns out I deleted my "Google" account), and lost some videos which were backed-up only in my dead external HDD.

November 10, 201312 yr Moderator Completely agree, they have also messed up gmail badly as well. I'll never understand why they change something which worked so well
November 10, 201312 yr I am already porting over my videos to Vimeo. It is better, the quality of the clips is almost like the real thing. No ads, no stutter, no corrupted uploads .. and last but not least, Vimeo doesn't change looks and features every few weeks, and messes up the hard work of video producers ... bye bye youtube ... oh sorry, bye bye Google .. youtube died a long time ago, already. ateh one - Flight Sim Video Productions
November 10, 201312 yr I love the euphemism “this or that company is going or went public”. Because I know if it was any good before it will no longer be, rest a sure. So much for do no evil in case in point. Hellooooooooooo? Cheers,
