  1. I purchased this "cd" to have this program amd it will not open so the program can be installed. I am not able to get a new key because it's been installed and activated according to you. Did I jus t blow another $44??
  2. Anyone know how to hide the small info window during flight? I manage to resize it and keep it down in the lower left corner, and have tried suggested key combinations, and when I do close it, it pops back after a few seconds. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. FSX for me. Thank you.
  3. How does one keep the messaghe from popping up all the time? Tried using the "~" key, doesn't do anything. I've looked through the forums here, but maybe I missed some info along the way. Thanks in advance for any helpful info.
  4. Have a look at Elite products. They are made in Switzerland. I've had the pro panel, throttle quadrant, rudder pedals, and avionics stack for over 6 years. Never had a glitch of any sort except "operator" errors. They provide software for FSX, so there's no guesswork. I also have a PFC 430 GPS unit that too operates flawlessly.
  5. Well, Carenado keeps cranking out new stuff, and don't make updates or patches for the ones they've already released. My last purchase from them was the PA46 Malibu. There won't be any more for me. I like the aircraft, flaws and all, but an update patch to address the problems would be nice. I'm not bashing them, just stating facts. I have sent emails to their website numerous times, and usually get ignored as best. Too bad the don't take care of what they have already have instead of making stuff for Xplane, Alabeo and so on. Oh well, guess that's enough "factual" bashing. Just my 2 cents worth.
  6. I have been using Elite Pro Panel, rudder pedals, avionics stack for the last 7+ years and have never looked back. it's Not the cheapest hardware around, but as stated I've never had an issue with the software, nor any of the hardware. You might want to have a look at their web site. Elite, or Flyrite. Hope this helps. The Elite hardware is all USB items. I have them all plugged into a powered hub.
  7. Well, I sent them a list of items that need fixing, and their reply, in so many words was, we may do another service pack, but if and when, who knows. I've sent them several things in the past, and it seems to be the same old song and dance. They seem to be quite busy updating Xplane stuff, but I guess updates for FSX has gone by the wayside. Guess they forget about customer satisfaction. Sort of like buying a car. It's yours, good luck.
  8. ESET NOD 32. I've used it for several years with no problems what so ever. It's not free, but very well worth the price in my opinion. Small footprint, uses very little resources.
  9. Is Linda ever going to be made compatible with Elite Pro Panel and other hardware?
  10. Does anyone know, or is using the Elite Pro panel, and LINDA, if they are compatible with each other? Thanks in advance.
  11. Dave, although Elite is rather expensive, I have had my setup for at least 5 years. I've had no problems what so ever. I have the pro panel, AP2000 avionics stack, rudder pedals, and all work as advertised. I've had and used a lot of the items on the market, but wouldn't trade any of Elite's hardware for anything else. I also have the vernier throttle for this unit as well. Hope this won't discourage you in any way, and helps as well.
