  1. Thanks guys will note these quick fixes and see what happens
  2. Does anyone else experience the uncontrollable upward pitch in these aircraft? I run a yoke and quadrant with pedals for the 737ngx and its fine as it the default 747 etc and light aircraft like cessna too, but I feel the default crj and learjets may need tweaks regarding the aircrafts cfg. anyone got any adjustments I can make so its not as hyper responsive? thanks
  3. got it sorted, some of the gauge files were missing, nothing a quick system restore didnt fix though as I had it installed prior with no issues, but thought I would wipe it as I had so much other software on fsx.
  4. Heres my issues: 1) Everything cold and dark 2)Mouse cursor cant control anything whatsoever 3)Sky visible in overhead panel Tired reinstalling loads of times, running as administrator, I think my pmdg737.dll file might be corrupted?
  5. Ok first of all, I am having the same issues as this guy in this forum: http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?249821-PMDG-737NG-VC-problem Basically in the VC, everything is black, pfds etc, I am unable to control anything via my mouse i.e click on objects, I have also calibrated my yoke/quadrant but, only the throttle works but is not reflected via movement in the pedestal. Flaps fail to work also. Basically its a cold and dark set up but with movement, everything else is dead?
  6. Ok i got the config application up, but there are a few different actions, the first states if you use this option nothing will be sent to fsx, others do not state their purpose. I'll see if there is a manual someplace in start menu
  7. Just bought a multi panel and was aware that it may not be fully working within the 737 ngx, however I downloaded spad, which apparently allows you to get a fully functional piece in the VC of the ngx. Issue is I downloaded and installed it but its simply saying the program is already running but no sort of config page for it or anything. Do I need something else or? Basically I want the ALT, AP, VS & AThrottle functions to function and change in real time within the VC, any help is appreciated. Flaps and trim appear to be working just fine however.
  8. I never hear the trim wheel when flying? although I have recently downloaded the new enhanced soundfiles from here and installed them.
  9. rain effects would be awesome and also ice build up on windscreen
  10. Did not know that thanks, but for sure I land pretty heavy all the time even on very short runways, Brakes set to 2nd notch, flaps 40
  11. I think re creating emergency landings with the likes of engine failure and passengers pretending to take heart attacks is much better to gain experience in difficult scenario's. i.e person takes heart attack, pick closest alternate airport, closest one has a short runway, contact ATC quickly, fuel dump etc etc, just things which are not commonplace. Try duel engine failure 35 nm from Kai Tak :)
  12. Just checked so it is, thanks
  13. Can anyone recommend a FLTPLN or way-points that can enable me to programme the FMC to lead me onto final for RW08 from the east, I know I probably need vectored or to be given permission but not sure how to contact the ATC in fsx/pmdg yet and have no other software downloaded for ATC.
  14. Good to see a real life pilot on the board. In all honesty and in as much detail as you like, how does your sim procedure, differ to your real life ones, with regards to Preflight, TO, Climb, Descend, Approach, Land & Shut down?
  15. anyone have one of their throttle levers or two configed for reverse thrust?
