  1. Mike is correct. The manual is purely a quick orientation guide. The training videos are for the guys who like to fly by the numbers. And believe me, they will be thorough.
  2. Dave Klain served as one of our advisers and supporters for the project. He provided hundreds of photos and videos that were taken specifically for our resources, as well as custom recorded sounds from his aircraft. We are considering replacing our Cessna 414AW with a Marquise at some point, and I'm glad I got to know Dave through this project. He's a huge help. Dave will also be receiving Flysimware MU-2B-60 Serial No. 0001
  3. Thanks David! Many people have stepped up to an MU-2 from an Aerostar. We actually considered an Aerostar for a very brief time before we bought our 414A, but quickly eliminated it for a number of reasons. Seems like 414A's and Aerostars are the two most popular piston twins the MU-2 drivers step up from. Hoping to have a Mits in our hangar instead of a twin Cessna in the coming two or three years.
  4. Hey David, the sounds are still a little bit in the works. Trying to figure out how to achieve what you have described given FSX's limitations. Make sure you all go check out the other topic I posted with the final exterior screenshots!
  5. This is a decision for Mark, but I doubt it will be a problem!
  6. Myself and Mark are Flysimware. So you're contacting us directly already
  7. The green tint on the side windows is accurate to the real world aircraft. I'll talk to Mark and see if we can have an option to remove the tint. Shouldn't be an issue. Thanks for all the kind words!
  8. Hey Real, It really comes down to pilot preference. Some prefer 98%, others leave them all the way up. We had to make a compromise here. We could have simulated the RPM reducing to 98% with a condition lever reduction, but we would have never been able to get the sound right. So in order to deliver what is still an accurate Garrett simulation, we elected to simulate only leaving the condition levers at 100%. Glad to hear you are looking forward! The wait is almost over!
  9. Thanks Todd. We think you're going to really like what we have in store for you!
  10. I use the PFC TQ myself. Fantastic piece of hardware. Keep at it and see what you can find out. If you get me some more info, I can hopefully point you in the right direction.
  11. I cant reproduce the issue Todd. Is there any chance its a hardware issue?
  12. The manual should be in the main install folder. Im glad you enjoyed the videos. Unfortunately, the remaining vids couldnt be finished due to a "full speed ahead" approach to the MU-2. Rest assured, ALL MU-2 videos will be available for viewing the day the aircraft is released.
  13. Yes. This will absolutely be available for the MU-2. It is very important that the MU-2 be flown by the numbers, and training is extremely important. Any real world MU-2 pilot will tell you that the airplane is a phenomenal performer, and an extremely safe airplane, provided that it is flown properly.
  14. We will have shots of the completed external model for you in the next several days. It's basically finished, but we still have a few tweaks to make.
  15. We have toyed around with this in the past. It is FAR easier said than done for several reasons, but nothing is out of the realm of possibilities.
  16. Glad you got everything worked out!
  17. Of course there will! Well, only the GTN750. And, just like the 441, there will be an option to integrate BOTH the GTN750 and WX500 from Reality XP.
  18. I'll get Mark on the horn, and see if we can investigate this issue.
  19. Guess what we have working as a vertical mode on the SPZ-500... PLEASE bear in mind that many of these textures and fonts are for testing purposes and are not final...such as the labels on the AP mode selector.
