Thanks very much. Thats seems to be the solution on a quick test flight. But very strange to have the black textures while flying in spring/summer time. Anyway....not needing the ice textures as they sometimes look also strange if you have big rivers like the Themse,Rhein,Elbe,Moldau or even bigger lakes and they are frozen while flying with -1°C Thank you very much PS: Wanted to give you a thumb up but it seems the function is disabled on avsim.com

Hey all, I just installed ORBX Global+Vector into P3D. Prior that I did not made any other changes and configured FSX to be used as dual sim (according to simmershome.de instrcutions) But now after ORBX installation some lakes and parts of rivers are black. But not all as you can see in the picture.

Made a manual landing and I have to add the Hawker flies very nice That's why I need to learn more about the plane as I intend to make some nice rotations to US/Canada airports made by ORBX Maybe someone will post a full tutorial in the future...

Good midday, I was wondering if there is maybe somewhere a kind of tutorial flight available to get more used to the Hawker. I was very happy about such tutorials for example made by the famous Jens Albert Schenk he made for the 747,Maddog and the DA Fokker 100. That was for me the best way to learn to the fly the 747 and Fokker. Of course the PDf delivered by Carenado are nice but quite basic according to the flight procedure for people coming from Airbus (/ Boeing). Greetings

@onebob I use the latest versions of both programs. EZCA 1.18.6 and P3D 2.5 with the latest hotfix. And of course I already read the link as I got the download from that side. But I can not find a specific problem/answer their to my problem. It's most about FSX installation. I now tried to remove the entry from the dll.xml but the problem still occurs. No idea why P3D is crashing on startup? I would really like to try P3D :/

Hey, I'm currently setting up P3D next to FSX. At all all worked fine with some tutorials and so I wanted to do some flights. For that I need EZCA to fly inside the VC. But EZCA is causing P3D to abort the start with the error "Prepar3D.exe is not working....searching for a solution via internet". And ECZA says simulatouns "FSX process not found". In FSx it's working Do you havy an idea?

One thing I do on most bigger and more detailed airports is to restart FSX after a while. If I'm going from EGLL to OMDB/CYUL/CYYZ/KJFK I know I already have a high VAS load due to EGLL+777. In the air that makes no problem but if approach the area of the airport I will get problems. So if you have FSUIPC as payware version you can simply tick the option to use AutoSave. That will save everything and with the PMDG it works very well. I mostly restart FSX when over not detailed scenery or short before T/D. That can give you some more VAS space as the previous airport is out. Hope that additional helps

I have some problems with getting the BK117 in the air. As there is no Cold&Dark most switches are already set according to the checklist. But I always have on the annunciator panel a red "ROTOR RPM" warning. N1 always stays at 70%. Also I'm not able to start the engine when coming from a MS Cessna with everything turned off. The manual is not that helpful as you might think. Anyone has an idea or a work around?

I now found the mistake. I can't explain why that happend but I guess it happend during the removal phase. EZDOK removed a whole section for the VC within the cameras.cfg. Therefore no world cam and VC could be found. Putting the VC section into the cameras.cfg solved the problem.

Hello, I'm currently crusing to China heading from Dubai. I'm currently on FL330 with massive tailwind. And I'm still having the wing condensation :o I checked your homepage and there it says the AOA has to be 5°. I activated it in the PMDG and it shows 3. On the PFD it's same it's there maybe 2,8° UP. Look at the pictures to see what I mean: PS: I have also your other package installed. And your homepage with the explanation of the features/conditions is very well done!!

How should I follow the config steps describes in the manual page 8 if that error occurs? And the message does not say "look into the manual" it says contact support/forum. But before registering in a new forum I thought I start a post here.

Hello all, I just deleted EZCA and then reinstalled it. But during launch of the config tool it tells me to search/config the world camera file. But at the end the wizard is not able to find the world camera file. In the sim I can't use my colie hat and switch the views with the key "S" like I could before. I also can not switch around via the EZCA tool. So at all it's not working. During removal I forgot to use the restore function of the config tool :/ Someone has an idea? Someone maybe has the world cam file? Would like to do my flights Thanks

Hello, I did not experience that before. I'm currently flying from Istanbul and did the preparation as all the previous flights before. But now I saw that the plane is not really following LNAV. He is mostly turning and that very steep (over 30°), then going back and banking to the other side. If that is occuring over a waypoint to pass he sometimes makes 360° turns or 180° turns etc. What can I do or what is the fault? PS: While writing I noticed he has now already passed around 3 waypoints without problem (distance between maybe 10-25nm). Also on a 85nm track he had now no problems?!! After some problems here with some nice help I guess I'll need to remove and install my FSX again. But to minimize the time without FSX I want to know what's the best way to "restore" FSX? What are important files I could save and then only copy back? How should I remove everything best? And how should I install everything again (ORBX Global,Scener like Aerosoft,...) I hate doing that >:(

FSX.cfg can be found in a link above the pictures via dropbox. I also used a FSX.cfg I saved some month ago where I did not have had these problems. Could it maybe has to do with the new ORBX openLC? I did not only experience that in the EU but just to be sure :/ I have no idea and did not have this before...

I already tried with a full reinstall to be honest and okay...it got a bit better now and I can fly now. But there is still a decrease if I fly to airporty like FlyTampa where I normally had no problems with any kind of aircraft. I hope the SP1b will may fix something in that direction to make it a bit more "stable". BUT...I did not experience any OOM only a lost in frames...

@Chris The Gauge Tool has fixed the problem with the black contrails. But I'm still having the problem with the loading of the ground. They are not getting sharp even if I hold/pause my position. I tested now with an fsx.cfg I saved 3 month ago where I did not had these problems. But not really a difference. There where also not many changes to the current .cfg :/

Dear all, I just noticed on my flights with the PMDG 777 some strange issues. 1. the exhaust plume is on the first part black and angled. At the end it's going white and normal (see 1st picture) 2. I'm using openLC Europe together with ORBX Global+Vector and since the new SP1 of PMDG the textures are not loading very well. At all textures not loading very fast. I had this much better prior PMDG :/ I'm using a tweaked .cfg (see dropbox link) and a not worse PC. Never experienced such issues and with that flying does not make fun anymore :/ System specs: Windows 7 x64 8GB RAM Intel i5 4670k with OC GeForce GTX 770 Addons: PMDG 777+300ER ORBX Global+Vector+openLC FS Global 2010 different Airport sceneries (Payware) FSX.cfg - Dropbox

Good eve, I installed VABB again today due the fact it was in FS9 a nice flight and airport and with the B77W it's more interesting. But in FSX I have a very bad elevation issue. I cam across that thread http://forum.avsim.net/topic/414443-thai-creations-mumbai-india-is-out/ but it does not fix any problem. It only appears on the runway. I'm using FS Global+Vector and FS Global 2010. Someone has a working fix for that? PS: I also checked TC FB page but it seems they are not caring about updates :/

I just tested at a default airport from FSX without scenery around. And here the performance is fine and everything is very smooth. But if I switch to Aerosoft EDDM or FlyTampa LOWW,.... I suddenly go down to 19-21fps and it does not feel very smooth :/

I'm currently facing the same problem as the opener of this topic. I've had without the SP1 always a minimum of 22 till 30fps except some special airports. But now ofter clean install with the RTM installer I'm still getting the problems too. I don't want to spend 5 bucks for the full new build including SP1and then hoping it could work. I guess this is not a problem with the scenery or FS setting at all. But what is the way to solve it and get back to the old (or maybe with SP1 better) performance?? Regards

Good afternoon, on this very hot afternoon I installed the new SP1 and wanted to test it prior the buy of the 300ER. But I had to recognize that I have a frames decrease on airports where I had no problem prior the SP1 release. I did not change anything as I spend my time away (holiday). For example at LOWW from FlyTampa I've had never any problems while flying the 200LR from Austrian or Emirates. Now I'm getting around 20fps and sometimes some light stutters. I installes the OC update and also restarted the OC and updated the liveries. System specs: Windows 7 x64 Intel i5 4670k 8GB RAM GeForce GTX 770 Thanks for some hints Before buying the new 300ER I want to be sure I will not get a decrease of fps to enjoy flying the long sister of the LR

If you don't want to create a profile complete by yourself you can also look for other profiles like Project Opensky or the SkSpirit. Maybe they will not completely match but they will save you time as you only need to make small corrections Depends on what you prefer more...
