  1. Any updates? Pretty frustrating to have spent money on a misplaced airport.
  2. I'm very proud of this repaint, a lot of very hard work went into making it a reality! B) Hope you all enjoy it!
  3. Back pressure for rotation isn't the issue. The issue is forward pressure on climbout. You can clearly see in that video there that the pilot doesn't push the column forward much, if at all. Whereas I'm having to push all the way forward to follow the flight director, and trimming doesn't alleviate this.
  4. I'm seeing this as well. Trimming down doesn't seem to have an effect at all on climb out, I need to give it near-full elevator down pressure on the control column.

Just sent it off to the AVSIM library.

Thanks all. I'm actually a big fan of 9V-SWI and SWJ myself, so yes I'll definitely do this. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thank you Richard! This one's now in the library. I've just uploaded Saudia's HZ-AK22 to the library as well, it should be available momentarily.

Just uploaded to AVSIM ^_^ In the meantime, here's a link... https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/23737560/FTG/B-2035/B-2035.zip
  9. Great news! I'm ready to knock out B-2035 (Smiling China) ^_^
  10. This is far too exciting. Thanks for the update!
  11. Very excited! Glad to have you back.
  12. There's a very good animation from the NTSB on the youtubes. Not wanting to start a debate or anything, but had the 777 had the signature Airbus alpha-floor, flight envelope protection, I believe we wouldn't have had a crash. Both Airbus and Boeing philosophies have their own ups and downs. On one hand, hard flight envelope protection would've saved this aircraft, on the other hand pilots would become complacent and begin depending on flight envelope protection (Air France A330). I agree the pilot's didn't understand the airplane, and were primarily at fault for this incident. The fact that he pushed flight level change, and then seconds later disconnected the autopilot is just unbelievable. A simple act of switching autopilot modes for really no reason caused this. Of course a continuous scan of cockpit instruments should've picked up on the error. I think the NTSB made a great call by recommending airline procedures instruct pilots to switch off flight directors when not following them. Perhaps Boeing should consider changing the "HOLD" phraseology to something along the lines of "MAN" for manual, since it could easily be interpreted as "Holding Airspeed".
  13. Just wanted to add this video (not mine) to illustrate. SWA 735 out of DAL, stationary at the gate to taxiing under own power in just 2 minutes. Too many factors to please all of the people all of the time, which is why I'm really looking forward to a customizable solution.
  14. Haha. Okay Mr. Rodgers, I'm not going to argue with you. Hey you make it a great day, okay? ^_^
  15. I'll add that I'm not throwing out random timings as some random internet commenter with no clue. That's great that your real world experiences match those that GSX provide in-sim. Unfortunately they don't match my extensive real world experiences. I can tell we're not going to get anywhere though, so agree to disagree. ^_^ I'll grab some video next time out and put it up side by side with some sim recordings for a more direct comparison.
