  1. Ok, here's the latest. After loadding the latest FSUIPC I went and loaded P3D V2.5 to make sure that all was working correctly including sounds & it was. Then I brought up both v2.5 & v3 .CFG files and made sure that the sound entries were the same. Then I tested v3 with FSUIPC unloaded & all the sounds worked. Then I loaded v3 with FSUIPC loaded & again all the sounds were working, so it seems that the problem was taken care. Next is to load add-ons, REX for weather & RadarContact for ATC & make sure that the sounds are working ok. I will let you know if it craps out again but I have a feeling it should work all right. Key, I think, was that all [sOUND] statements that were working in v2.5 were the same in v3. Mayb there is a lesson in there some place. Thanx again for the responses. Regards. /Pete
  2. It also worked without problems in both 2.4 & 2.5
  3. I have an Soundblaster X-Fi Xtreme sound card with all the latest drivers. Also, have V2.5 in which there is no sound problems. I check both versions .CFG files abd the lines in the [sound] are exactly the same. What happens in V3: No sound with the stock ATC, just text messages to the ATC window, Now, if I add RadarContact & make an ATC call, the call starts but then fade away. Text does appear in the RC window. Yes, I have the layest version of FSUIPC.
  4. I was able, through JV at Orbx to resolve the problem & I thank him again.
  5. For all the people making suggestions about procedures within the Orbx forum, I have followed to the letter all of their procs, without success. I have not been able to get any help from either FSS or Orbx, especially Orbx. There is no proc to bring this type of problem to Orbx's attention. A problem is only acted upon within the Orbx forum. The problem being that if you don't have access to the forum nothing can be done. Orbx is the first company that I have dealt with that doesn't have some mechanism that allows you to resolve this type of issue. Let me be clear, I have no problem with the software & I am presently using the same in P3D. All I would like is to be able to access the to stay abreast of updates & user suggetions, which is impossible because I can't access their info sources.
  6. Sounds like FSPickerman & I have exactly the same problem. Sorry for this rather late reply but with summer activities in full swing, I have an old car that I take to shows in the nice weather, so I haven't been able to pay as much attention to flightsim as I would like. I too, have tried the FlightSimStore route & also followed to the letter the validation routine. Nothing but canned responses from ORBX and no way to explain or alleviate the problem with them. I have been trying to solve this since I purchased ORBX products at the end of February this year with no luck.
  7. I have sent an email to FSS. That was sent last week, to date I have not recieved a response from them or from ORBX. I didn't expect to recieve one from ORBX.
  8. I have worked with FlightSimStore & they are great. I will send an email to a contact there & try that route. Thank You
  9. Once I login to the FullTerrain website, I loose all, ALL, functionality of the website. If I go to that page after login it comes back with the message "no permission......."
  10. I have not been able to use anything on the fullterrain website. I also recieve the "no permission" message after I officially login. Then it won't let me logout. My purchase was fron TheFlightsimStore, Order Number: FSS0356085 Order Date: 2015-02-22. Any help would certainly be appreciated. I had posted the above in another topic but it was suggested to not "hijack" anothers topic. Hopefully, I may be able to get either a response from Orbx or suggestions from another source. In either case, thanx in advance.
  11. My intent was not to hijack. I had read the previous posts & thought it may workout to get some kind of response from Orbx. Sorry if that was the impression, again not my intent.

  13. I understand that FSX is no longer supported but what I was referring to was all the other applications acroos the broad spectrum of computing that has been affected by these errors due to ntdll.dll. It was amazing to see this going on, that's all. Since I have reloaded FSX into it's own directory, here's what's been happening. I also went back & loaded AMD 13.1 graphic driver. The 1st time I booted FSX it errored upon exit & once again after that. Then I was able to make a whole flight, moving around the menus during the flight & doing the things that I would have normally done during the flight. This flight was done with the reduced settings. Ended the flight & at the create flight screen went to peek at the flight log & then back to create flight. Exited FSX & upon exit, got the stopped working dialog box. Since, I have removed 13.1 driver & replaced with the 13.11 beta that someone was saying worked correctly. Still no glory, moved all the sliders to 0 & fsx still crashed. Now what I am going to do is unload 13.11 & go to 13.4 & do any further testing with 13.4 alone. Then maybe I can get a crash report that we can tell something from.
