Loading your 737 back to where you left off
Hi Petr, I'll give it a try again. In the past I have saved a flight when I press panel state save then I set a name to save it under, however when I come back to do another flight I go to panel state load and the name I put in isn't there, it only gives me the original panel state load option pmdg has set up ex. Cold and dark, long, short etc... Am I doing something wrong here?

Loading your 737 back to where you left off
Hi Guys, I've been struggling to find an answer to my question so thought I would start this topic. Sorry if this has already come up before. I want to load my 737 back to where I left it. For example, I flew from A to B and it was 3 hours. So time to my next service is now 247 instead of the 250 when I first started flying the aircraft. How do I save the aircraft so that when I do my next flight from B to C I will start with 247 hours left until next service? Thanks

Not Air France. I grew up loving British Airways, so if I were to look into a European airline I would choose BA

Yeah, mine would be Air Canada, WestJet, Emirates or Cathay Pacific. But I just don't know what to go for. I really love living in Canada, but I also really want to fly heavy aircraft which Cathay and Emirates offer. AC has heavies but as you probably know, chances of being hired onto a heavy with AC is slim and you will have to gain seniority to bid for the heavy aircraft.

Nope, hope to one day. Just on my CPL at the moment. Got this information from my instructors who are Air Canada pilots. How bout you?

Yes McCarter it is easy but also difficult. What I mean by this is that in order to get into AC or WJ you not only need there minimum hours but also have to beat the hundreds of other applicants who may be even more experienced flying for 703/704 operators. Also since there are so many pilots in Canada it's more difficult to get a job. I know us pilots will get there eventually but I wish there was a cadet program to speed up the process like EK and CX.

EK is a great airline I heard from a family friend who is captain on the 380. He was originally from Toronto. Since DXB is the base for all EK pilots they gave him his own condo in Toronto on top of the expat beneficiaries for when he flys to Toronto. However, yes we have to build quite a few hours before we can even apply whereas CX has a cadet program where you can at least apply for there cadet program with a minimum PPL or less. I wish Air Canada would open up a cadet program lol
