Found a Yoke in fleebay, cant wait!

I knocked my stick off desk, and now theres stuff ratteling around inside. Its an old grey base model, that I have to use a serial to usb converter for anyways. I digress, if your looking to upgrade to a yoke, and have one of these (USB Model / Pro Only ), and its in working condition, please let me know. Ima lil bummed out. Thanks in advance.

IN the past week and a half, I have realized that I have quite a bottleneck in performance running FSX with only scenery add-ons with my pc. GPU=650TIOC but my CPU is.. (Get ready to laugh), and amd 5600+ DC @ 2.8g. I can get 40 fps @ cruise with most things set full tilt, ( both cores of cpu running near 100% most of time ) & it gets a LOT slower on approaches..anyways.. Im really considering a new build very soon, may be a haswell build, however, how can I Utilize my current pc in addition to the new? I have heard of many people running multiple PC's for running sim's, however, I cant come up with any 'beginners guide' or even a reference list of sorts, of whats dooable with multiple pc's. I would imagine that a 2nd pc could run addons some how? Basically looking for any forums, posts, url's, or smoke signals in regards to running multiple PC's with FSX or its addons. I have many questions about this arrangement & possible capabilities & limitations, however I'll wait for those. Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone. I would really like to get into a 3 identical monitor set up ( possibly 24"s ) My question is this: Would it be best for me to take advantage of the multi-monitor outputs on my GTX650TI (1HDMI/2DVI + 1VGA) or to get one of those TripleHead2Go products? Advantages & Disadvantages? Thanks in advance !

dcgator29, Thank you for your input, I truly appreciate it ! A few things you mentioned I did now know & it helps alot. I never had anything but stock scenery before, so Im sure anything I get will be much better. I like the mega scenery idea, I may just get NY, and try it out. Most of my flying is @ 10K & above, but would be nice to really have good quality airports once I start shooting approaches... I will search for some of the airports I would like to frequently fly in/out of. ( KROC<-- MY ACTUAL HOME AIRPORT,KBUF,KJFK,KBOS, ECT ECT ) If any one else has any thoughts, please feel free ( after I get a few bits of scenery, will be adding on the ATC stuff.. trying to do this slow n steady, so I don't get overwhelmed again :rolleyes: )

Hello everyone. Im just getting back into FSX after a while away. I would like to get some scenery ( Usa only ) and even then really only interested in east of the Mississippi. I have looked @ some of the commercial options available, I believe one developer has scenery packs for individual states. Mega scenery perhaps. Anyways, my questions are as follows: 1) will any add on scenery, still allow me to also add-on specific airports from developers if available? 2) of the available scenery options out there including payware & freeware ( if any exists ) who will have the best. most detailed, realistic scenery? 3) Are there certain types of scenery i should purposely stay away from? I hope this isnt the wrong forum for this, I looked for an hour , and only found a scenery developers forum & not really interested in making my own. Thanks in advance

Hello everyone. After a long time away from simming, I have recently upgraded my PC where it is now well suited to such things. I have just today done a clean install of FSX SP1 & 2, and decided to do a flight. Durring flight all seems well, untill i start going threw the menues, to change views, pull up GPS, radio stack,throttles ect ect. Then It crashes. Goes to desktop, and wants me to search online for a fix. None found via that route. I can be 2 min into flight, or 50 minutes, its using the menues that is almost for sure causing it. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance!
