There is a thread somewhere on this forum that specifies precisely how to perform this action, don't seem to be able to find it ?

I believe you can adjust vox somewhere in settings, how many attempts it accepts, prior to taking your word for it (default must be on the second attempt). On the other hand, I don't think the built in voice reco is doing its job as well as some other voice reco aps (eg, fs2 crew), or perhap, the correct pronunciation is a little more critical/complex ?

I have used my ivona voices with vox for many years, this is the first time I have had problems. I think my PC may have caught a cold recently, it's not vox :-( Me too lol, thanks for the support anyway.

Yep, done the full Monty every time, many times. It's not vox, it's something to do with my sapi5 install, I think ?

Lol, more than I can count. Just discovered its not limited to vox, any ideas ?

Hi Guys My ivona and voxpop voices no longer work ? They all appear in the configurator, when I click speak, the voxpop voices do not respond ? if I click speak for the ivona voices, it crashes the configurator ? I can only run vox with M/S Anna. Any ideas appreciated. Cheers Ivan

Thanks Nooon, sorry to hear about your tablet, I'll get my ISP to give this a shot. I have been in touch with apple and they have confirmed the link is broken at there end also ? Very frustrating. Is there an uptodate version of VAinterface lite available anywhere else (FSX-SE). Cheers

Shadows are very pretty in both, I stopped noticing them after a while and traded them in for quite a few extra FPS (prefer the smoothness emersion and the bling outside of the windows). The only time I miss shadows is when I see screenshots, nice shots by the way :-)

Hi All I have recently purchased the 737 cdu app and am unable to connect to the Virtual Avionics website to download the required Interface app (VAInterface lite). Just a heads up, if you decide to purchase this app, I would check to see if you can connect to the developers web site first ? Just wandering, has anybody else experienced this, as I have been trying to connect for a few days now ? Cheers Ivan

Yep, some great VC upgrades at hovercontroll, look great in FSX. Still haven't installed dodo into P3D as yet.

I only have the three main cfg tweeks ( hi/mem, wide true, and 4096,I have tried every tweek for FSX that you can google). Over the years, i must have reinstalled FSX scores of times. I believe the key to a stable FSX is the install process, SSD,a nice clean moderate system, and no freeware (not the tweeking). I did not mean to rattle anybody's cage, I have great hopes for P3D. Just saying, if you have a stable FSX, wait a while. Salt is really bad for ya by the way :-) Oh forgot, I added a vasi scaler to the CFG, as I run FSX at 6048 x 1080, REX 4's tripple head to go lights were still too large for this resolution in FSX. I can only run P3D on my LG ultra wide at 2056 x 1080, and I still need to add the same vasi tweek to P3D. I don't get OOMS on either platform by the way, though I limit myself to short haul. I only fly NGX, Dash 8, and A2a, so I'm well accustomed to demanding addons.

Yep, can't justify the supposed gains and benefits received from P3D after converting from FSX. Still can't install 50% of the addons I can in fsx, with some I have managed to install, have to scale back the settings and loose the supposed gains anyway. Every update seems to break something, spend more time playing with sliders and settings than flying. I'll stick with old faithfull untill LM pull there finger out. Huge cost for a few shadows, but remain optimistic. If you have a stable FSX, I'd stick with it for a while longer ?

I have dodosim for FSX, have not got around to installing into P3D as yet. Can someone confirm that it works in P3D ? Without a doubt, the most realistic rotary flight model.

I used to be too, but I'm not so sure anymore ? There is so many many posts regarding people's struggling with Nvidea here, that it has frightened me off converting. I'm not totally happy with my AMD, though it seems to be much more trouble free and performance enhanced than the majority posting here ? So little AMD chatter here, I'm sure there there must be good or bad reason for that ? Sorry, good luck with the Nvidea tweeks.
