  1. Look under the 5Ghz band options. What more are you looking to get, you say you are getting 76/10 (down/up). Your connection is 50/10. Your WLAN link speed is the AC part. Anything over 150MB is AC. My connection is 1.3 GBs. but my WAN speed is 118/35. http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps13367/index.html These bad boys have interference mitigation (clean air tech). Just sold my Cisco 1142N.
  2. I have an Asus RT-AC66 and Asus PCE-AC68 with windows 7. It's amazing. Now on the 5 ghz band, which is what you need for AC speed. make sure n+ac is checked, 80 Mhz channel width. And security needs to be WPA2-personal and AES encryption
  3. I have the Asus 780 DC II as well. 8X AA, 8X SSG, 16 AF, LOD bias -1.5 allowed. FXAA off. That can cause some fuzziness. My setting are for DX10 also. 0x80000F71 (BioShock, BioShock 2) in AA Comp. DX1x. 2560x1440
  4. Ok, so I just saw their was an update to FSUIPC that fixed this specific issue. No more crashing. Thanks again.
  5. I have followed your suggestions and my sim now runs 1000x better. Much smoother. Although now it crashes every time I exit with a fatal error and restarts. 6. This is a great thread as I have been experiencing the same issues. And my system should have no issues running FSX. I am going to try these suggestions out and let you know what happens. Thanks, Dave
  7. Ah, overclocking can cause it definitely. Haswell I found to be a b*itch to OC. Ivy bridge was a breeze. But If your voltages aren't under control it will be a nightmare. I delidded my 3770k, which I still have and don't use, temps were great and it overclocked like a champ. Intel burn test is great for testing OC stability. What is your Vcore set to and what speed are you going for? Are you up to date on your BIOS?
  8. Have you properly removed and re-installed your video drivers? What does event viewer say when then computer reboots. Regardless of having a a BSOD event viewer should shed some light.
