I'm personally still using P4AO with orbx central and don't see any issue caused by P4AO @Lorby_SI The layering used by orbx still uses the scenery.cfg layers to insert its layers and basically does the same thing as FTX central but it now integrates add-on.xml in the library instead of adding scenery.cfg entries. About the blurries, I also observed that blurries happens much more quickly than before when flying fast and low and that loading ground textures is a bit slower. I don't really get blurries in normal situations though. From all the testings I've done through the years, I unfortunately these are mainly due to these 2 reasons explained by Oliver, especially the 2nd one: Also, there's a huge flaw in how orbx implemented the world texture components in their addons. It's been confirmed by orbx after a serie of tests I've been running during the last week: https://orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/177646-major-issue-world-textures-add-on-component-does-not-replace-default-textures/ I even wonder if it's been really tested as it should not have been released with such an important issue.

  3. Hi, I'm having an issue since the latest update released today: It's now impossible to cycle through presets that are using the same hotkey; pretty problematic as I always use the same hotkey for sub-views like forward overhead, afterward overhead...etc

Hello Harry, I'm sorry you got confused to uninstall Envtex, the process is pretty straight forward normally: - Click on Restore in Envdir if you want to get back your textures before Envtex was installed; - Uninstall Envtex and Envdir from the windows programs panel if you don't expect to use it again and that's all As for the ASCA errors with Envtex, we have been in contact with Damian at Hifi and he confirmed there is an issue on their side with numerous additional presets, it should not prevent you to use ASCA though.
  6. Yes, this is the backup I made when I had the error, before restoring to a previous state. If I restore the one I sent you, the error is back for some reason. Really weird, it's the first time it ever happened, don't spend too much time on this if there's nothing obvious πŸ˜‰ Thanks for the help anyways πŸ™‚

  8. Hi Oliver πŸ™‚ The exception window appear just after clicking the edit group button. Restoring a previous backup solved the issue, what is weird is that no change was made between this backup and the time this exception appeared. (By the way, is there a changelog for b10? I had b06 before but couldn't find any change notes, not really important but I always like to check what's new πŸ™‚ )
  9. UPDATE: Sorry, it does not seem to come from P4AO, for some reason one file got corrupted. That's weird as I did not install anything. Any idea about what file could cause this so I can find the culprit? Thanks πŸ™‚
  10. Hello, Since I've installed the latest version today (1.39b10) I'm receiving an exception each time I'm trying to modify a group which tells me "The list zone has too many elements". Thus I can't modify any group anymore. Any idea? Below is the full error message.

  12. It works like a charm with the Q400 and all other aircraft, even those which are not supposed to be compatible with dynamic lighting.

Hello @RichieFly No worries, if you don’t come to us, I’ll come to you ^^ What may have happened is that an old version of shaders were restored to your sim because you didn’t delete the previous shaders backup. I know this can be confusing and this is why we are working on something to reset the shaders backup after a client reinstall πŸ˜‰ Best regards
  15. Actually not, the sky textures in ASCA are working differently, if you uncheck these, you will loose the dynamic sky textures.

  17. No nothing is complicated, just uninstall Envtex, reinstall the new version and let the automatic update of envdir doing its job. After that you're ready πŸ™‚ Your default shaders are being installed back if you use the restore function πŸ˜‰ About your settings not being saved, it's an issue that was solved a loooong time ago. One of the early version of Envdir had an issue that was corrupting the settings, this needs to reset the settings once. In the next version, we made the installer erasing the settings automatically for you, but if you missed this envdir update several months ago, you didn't get the automatic reset (we couldn't let it there for users who updated their software or everyone's settings would always being reset). So the only way to solve this is to reset them once (using the Reset envdir setting shortchut in the windows start menu or the envdir help page), and reapply your settings manually once. Then you can export them again and import them again as much as you want and this issue will never reappear.

After spending some time on our own forum solving the few issues reported, I'm now available a bit for you all here. @hvw, glad it's now working, I'm still wondering what could have happened though. If you had a crash report in your windows events viewer, could you please post it in your topic on the TOGA forum? Such feedbacks always are welcome as we sincerely never succeeded to make Envdir crash during development and test phases for quite a long time (fortunately I guess as the base thing is now one year old and pretty much stable). @helberger, if envtex is still being shown as 1.1.6, it means it was not properly installed, may be because of administrator or antivirus issues. Could you please reinstall using admin rights? It could also be corrupt installation files but I doubt so or the install wouldn't even have been completed. @RichieFly, sorry if the manual is not clear enough, the entire team is french and as our reputation says, we're not really good at other languages πŸ˜… To talk seriously, I'm doing my best in explaining things in the user manual but as it's not my native language I may not be always using the right terms. We actually are searching for someone who would be interested in correcting our user manual, if anyone is willing to help us, don't hesitate to leave me a message ! About the installation, it's now pretty much straight forward and we made it much more simple that it was before. As a very small company we're learning little by little from our past mistakes and we will continue improving the products in that way. @Shomron, about ASCA integration, yes our clouds are now able to use the dynamic feature of ASCA, the only thing is to uncheck "clouds textures" in ASCA settings so their clouds are not overwriting ours. Just like ASCA does, Envtex actually installs several variants of clouds directly in the sim, then ASCA's cloud models are clever enough to choose the right one to display depending on weather. I let the users talking about the final result as I wouldn't be very objective, but we feel the product have been incredibly enhanced with this service pack. If you have a serious issue, I may not see it quickly if you post here so don't hesitate to post on the TOGA forum or to send us a mail πŸ˜‰
  19. Thank you Chris will do, I was not aware there was a limit to deactivate your products. Just a last question: will I be able to unregister again after some time have passed or will I lose my current activation each time I uninstall the product until I open a ticket to ask an activation reset?
  20. Hi all, I'd like to make a full reinstall of P3D to install the new version 4.4 and for this I wanted to unregister my PMDG products first. Unfortunately the 747 unregistering gives me this error: Operations error:7466 The return of the fulfillment is denied by the return policy because max return exceeded{ Incident#7462-173892] I indeed reinstalled them last week as I didn't thought P3Dv4.4 would be released in such a short frame time after that. I did not know there was a limit of unregistering, not really sure what's the point. How can I properly unregister my product please? 😊

Hi Keven, Just a small issue I've found today when updating the MaddogX with a full reinstall: the latest version of CP doesn't correct the camera definitions of the external (added using the add-on.xml method) aircraft.cfgs anymore. I tried to put the aircraft folder inside the main P3D simobject folder and then the camera definition have been corrected by CP. Seems like something was messed up during the latest update.
