P3D V3 and VAFS
Anyone get VAFS to work with P3D? Everytime I try to start a fligt, EZdok crashes and aircraft starts spinning and going haywire. Also, if VAFS is running before P3D, it CTD.

Not Working in P3D2.4
I just installed and nothing works. Heavy rain looks like drizzle and heavy snow shows nothing. I have the migration tool disabled. All registry entries point to the correct location. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times.

ASN and WX radar
I tried that and nothing happened. Same black screen. I too have installed SP1. Also I am running P3D. Don't know if that makes a difference.

ASN and WX radar
WX radar doesn't seem to be working with ASN. Is anyone else using it? Also are there any docs on the anti icing and air conditioning systems? Thanks

altitude hunting
Made my first flight and am experiencing the same thing. Anyone else? Is there something I am missing?

FSUIPC 4.93 crashes P3D ver 2.2
Thank you. I already have the latest FSUIPC and P3D versions. I feel like I am may be missing something simple since there are many success stories with the same combination. One other note is that I am running RC on separate computer and I have also updated the wideFS client as well. I am able to run Plan-G through that WideFS so I know its connecting and communicating.

FSUIPC 4.93 crashes P3D ver 2.2
Did this ever get resolved? I am trying this combo not and its failing when I click Start RC. The error on P3D is an appcrash module ai_player.dll.

LOD radius not following Aircraft
I thought I was having an issue the other day with AEC but after reinstalling Global, Vector, and new ORBX libraries I noticed what the true problem is. It seems my LOD radius is not tracking with the aircraft. I was using the top down view when I again noticed the ground looked funny on the horizon. notice how I am approaching the edge of detail. does anyone have any idea how to fix this? I thought it was an AEC issue because I am flying over Japan and China the last few days and wasn't sure what the airports should look like. Also if I save the flight and load it, the LOD is once again centered for the moment but again doesn't track with me. Thanks

Dash 8, ASN, and FSpassengers
So I finally got the update to install properly and I have toned down the turbulence in ASN and the Dash 8. I still get landing gear failures in FSPX. I was able to remove the G force penalties but i dont see anyway to stop the landing gear failure. Is that any tweaks to the DASH or FSPX that will prevent that? Also thank you for acknowledging the issue with ASN and WX radar. I'd love to be able to use it in the future.

Dash 8, ASN, and FSpassengers
if i dont have that setting should I assume the hotfix didnt apply properly? Is there some other way to check?

Dash 8, ASN, and FSpassengers
what should i have for a turbulence setting? I installed the hotfix but i cant find the setting referenced????

Dash 8, ASN, and FSpassengers
I installed the hotfix but I dont see any turbulence setting in the INI. I dont see how this would relate to the landing gear failure when FSpassenger reports a -200 ft/min landing rate. What about the WX radar and ASN? I have tried deleting the default flight from the cfg file and reloaded the aircraft several times but I still get false radar data

Dash 8, ASN, and FSpassengers
Has anyone figured out how to make all three work in terms of turbulence, G forces, WX radar, landing gear failures, and general settings across the board? I have yet to see the WX radar display anything but giant red storms on clear skies. Also every flight is negative G penalties and broken landing gear. Thanks

I guess it's as good as it gets.

Wrong Destination WX reported
The developers at AS explained a few things to me that weren't apparent. It seems metars indicate true direction of wind and FSX reports it as magnetic. +/-30 degree variations occur based on location. Secondly with ATC wind lock on, winds will always be a mimimun of 6 knots in fsx even if metar report 1knot or even 0. Lastly when direction is variable or calm Fsx will and does show full 360 degree wind shifts over short 1-5 minute time period. I was looking at calm winds and metar showed 180 00. Fsx value was 360 06 and I watched the direction swing 360 degrees all this while stationary on the ground. I was also seeing 345 10 and fsx would display 330 10 based on magnetic variation. This all plays almost no bearing into what was happening with RC. It seems the global WX when flying with DWC is what you are in at the time. destination weather was always close to global +/- magnetic variation. FSUIPC logs confirm that and match what RC reports. I traded email with Peter awhile ago about this in general terms and he didn't think FSUIPC had anything to do with it. I can provide log anyone interested in taking a closer look.

Wrong Destination WX reported
I have the latest FSUIPC and I tune 50 and 100 miles out so I can compare any changes. Both show the same(whats reported in Activesky) I opened a ticket with active sky yesterday. I was noticing winds are wrong compared to METAR. I think my problem is with the weather engine. I was testing today and i watched the wind swing 360 degrees 3 times in 20 minutes. I think it may be related to the latest beta SP i installed. We shall see.

Wrong Destination WX reported
I tried setting Active Sky to use FSX destination weather lock and DWC. The destination WX is close enough to what Active sky shows but when I tune ATIS in RC prior to arrival I get all kinds of erroneous data.

Wrong Destination WX reported
I have FSX running on PC1 with a full version of FSUIPC and WideFS. I have PC2 running RC4 via WideFS. I have PC3 running ActiveSky 2012 via Simmconnect. I am using DWC and I always get the wrong destination wind direction and velocity. Is there some kind of configuration I need to do between all these products?
