This is no better than before. Could someone please lay out in sequence how you set up the FMS flight plan, and what exactly you push on the AP (NAV or HDG) to follow that path. This thing goes wherever it wants, not the intended course.

Believe it or not, worse than before. Climb out is still horrible (130) max at just under 2000 ft/min. Can't fly an ILS (went to wrong runway), keeps calling out "2500, 2500" regardless of the altitude, and the approach button still does not work. I hate to complain but this is getting a little annoying, especially when we were all awaiting some fixes. Oh well, I have many other fine aircraft that do work.

I personally don't want and am not implying boycotting Carenado. I just want what I paid for and like many of us, the long wait translated to us that we were going to get a thoroughly evaluated and tested product, and we did not. I didn't try for a refund because I do like the aircraft and know that I will be satisfied with either thier SP relaease and/or the fixes many of you geniuses have provided to us!

There is no "hating" going on, just very unsatisfied customers. You can't pay $50 for a product and not have it deliver as plannned. This thing took forever and had a lot of people excited for the release, only to see that they did NOT deliver a quality product from head to toe. It is a beautiful product and modeled very well, however I am concerned because I addressed certain things with Carenado about the documentation and some of the other issues and they don't see a problem with it. I agree with what others posted in here that it is not good that they don't have thier own forum, and I am not sure they are even looking at this one, which will show how many unsatisfied devoted customers there are. I hope to goodness that they fix ALL the problems we are complaining about, and frankly I wish they would somehow allow a integration with GTN 750 as this at least shows a good map of the area and path you are flying. I guess the time starts ticking away for this SP release...................... :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Mine always work by pushing F2 on the keyboard. Once I release it they shut off.

Hello, For the life of me I cannot figure out why when I fly an ILS or GPS heading while on autopilot, my aircraft will not fly the heading or ILS approach heading. In other words, I was flying into an airport where I would shoot an ILS approach, however the aircraft flew to the left of the intended runway and wasn't even close to the approach runway. This has become frustrating since I cannot effectively fly an approach or get my GPS to take me directly to the waypoint I put in. Please lend some advice and fix for this. Thanks so much!

Is anyone else hearing a high pitch sound, or ringing in the engine of the DA40? it is driving me crazy, and forces me to mute the engine when at high RPM. Any help would be apprecated.

I purchased the Carenado Phenom, a long awaited excitement for me, only to be disappointed with several issues. I am not able to figure out why I don't get any rudder reaction when I am lining up to land, it is just like the yaw damper or something else is preventing it from working. This is frustrating especially when coming in on a crosswind landing. The other disappointment is how impactful it is on FPS, as the other Carenado add ons give me a consistent 20 FPS, which is good for my system. I wish Carenado would listen to us that pay big bucks to get these add ons, and hopefully address these issues. Any help with the rudder issue would be greatly appreciated. BTW, I did see the YD is off, and for some reason the CAS shows "YD Fail", which is not indicated in their manuals. Thanks. Shane
