  1. Hello Everyone, Just wanted to get a few facts from you guys about Prepar3D before i go and buy it. Recently given up with FSX temporary till i can work out the issue. Anyway back to P3d, basically i've been getting stack hash error's on FSX, so i'm hoping that p3d would work better and maybe not crash at all on my windows 8.1 Pro system. It's very good specs. (Specs on the forum post below). So need some information about if it will run crash free on my system. Secondly is i have the airbus X package and the PMDG 737 NGX, i was wondering if these 2 planes will run on p3d. I've heard things about the 737 and p3d but i thought its best to come here for you recommendations and setup information.. I intend buying the PMDG 777 also later this year. I just want to know if its a good stable idea for my windows 8.1 pro system and it won't keep BEX stack hashing me. Many thanks Bradley Russell You can check this out at: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/453386-fsx-dtc-help-windows-81-pro-crashing-please-losing-will-to-live-stackhashbex/page-2#entry3098305
  2. Thank you for the response. Shall read properly tomorrow. I do the Time Acceleration just to try and reproduce the error. But it does bring this error without it also.. Many thanks Shall go through everything tomorrow. It's late here Bradley
  3. Ok Thank you for all your help regarding this issue. I've literally done everything now. Including removing the relevant Microsoft Visuals. There's not a lot more I can do now. People have said to turn virtual memory to system managed? And other things like Disable display scaling on high DPI settings. And off course compatibility mode. And can I ask one very simple question. Is it possible that time acceleration mode could cause this crash? Many thanks Bradley
  4. 11:00 19/10/2014 Ok Uninstalled that because that was no good. And made no difference. So I looked at another post suggesting to put the WideAspectview thing to true as I have well wide full hd monitors. And the stackhash has gone away after aceloration mode but it still crashes. But it's a different one now http://pastebin.com/V4xCFFJu Here is a screenshot of all of the C++ things installed. Sorry I really have looked over the guide 1000+ times now and I thought I had done everything. http://s9.postimg.org/59vr0fsi7/image.png 13:53 19/10/2014 Latest update. I'm Noticing because I've just done another flight after this. I'm noticing it varys between stackhash with no faulting information and then changes to the one above. It's very odd.
  5. I'm trying this also. I am the administrator of the computer, but it's on a different drive to the os fsx. So I've done the taking ownership thing. Is this something that I can try, or is it unsafe for me to do so: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/437455-appcrash-mistery/
  6. Hi. Did a flight short flight yesterday. Second I landed it crashed. With the same error. Even after using the two settings you said.
  7. Can I change both of these? I'm about to do a group flight. I'm not going to use Acceleration mode or anything and I will update you on that. Can I do both of these (LOD_Radius to 6.5 or Texture_Max_Load to 2048). Currently just set Texture_Max_Load to 2048 on this flight.. Many thanks Bradley
  8. Right so last options before I chuck it out the window. This is how I reproduce the crash so quickly. I put it in x32 or fastest mode and mess with the settings until it crashes. It still crashes on normal flights also though so it's the same result. My guess is that settings are to high even if my computer is high spec. What can you recommend me tweaking/lowering. And also before I forget I believe it's overclocked. Not sure what to as scan.co.uk did it themselves. This could also be a culprit, but would have no idea about bios. More thinking settings as there all set pretty high. Many thanks Bradley

  10. Ok Back to normal error from start again. But what's odd and how I reproduce it is the following. Keep pressing buttons on the toolbar at top. Do this a some times. And going through speed modes, views and things. It eventually just freezes and crashes. The UIautomation thing seemed to be the only thing at one point allowing me to use the pmdg 737's fmc without it freezing and crashing. Many thanks
  11. Currently Testing the dll disabled now. But one thing I have noticed. Is should FSX be running in a compatibility mode? If so which one should it be in? 12. See my Dll looks fine other than these sqawkbox things which I did disable but maybe it can still effect if present. What I shall do before I do anything is send you these files so you can see if anything could of caused it. I would do it myself but I'm so scared of breaking something else DLL http://pastebin.com/TZgCQDMv exe http://pastebin.com/0kctG8Qv
  13. What i meant by fsdreamteam is GSX free trial uninstalled but fsdreamteam is still in the exe file. I presume keeping these nodes in the exe file and dll file, could cause these crashes. And am i right in thinking deleting the 2 files dll and exe will regenerate them or? And if they are regenerated will that sort it because Swuakbox is no longer installed. Or do i need to manually go through everything adding each node one by one on the dll till it works if that is the cause to the crash? Many thanks If you don't understand my mumbling just say hahaha. Bradley
  14. Ok moving onto the DLL. How do I remove this safely and the exe I think you said. There is something about fsdreamteam in the exe but I don't have any thing anymore like that installed.
  15. Hi, I have now redone the fsx config without the internet fix tool. Nothing other than simple vanilla fsx.cfg. It crashed again. It just basically freezes for like 5 seconds then crashes http://pastebin.com/b3H5Qw9C
  16. Hmm i'm really struggling to find a solution to this. I've just disabled some sqawkbox stuff on the dll file because I don't even have it anymore. But i'm not sure if this could fix it...Many thanks for everything so farBradley Ok Latest update. This has not worked.. It has crashed yet again
  17. Hi Thank you for such a quick response. I need some further information about the subject. First of all, could this free addon scenery be the cause of the crash regardless if I landed at it? Secondly I have done some long flights so do I need to delete some folders and is this a permanent fix? Can FSX actually work successfully on Windows 8.1?. And is there anything I should add to my fsx.cfg to make it more stable. I shall give you my FSX CFG file here as a pastebin so you can avaluate it. And see if you can find anything there. It was recently reconfigured last week which I thought had solved the issue. Seriously any information is greatly apriciated. And I really hope we can fix these issues. 18. http://pastebin.com/sgs1rJg0 Hey Guys. Hoping you can help before I lose the will to live all it seems to be happening a lot these days. And I just want it to work.. Anyway here are my storys: Within the last couple of days I thought I had solved these errors. I added some free scenery and it crashed on landing into the scenery after taking screenshots and replay mode. I later removed this scenery and did another long flight this time landing at a different scenery this worked no problem and had no issues last night with my flights. Today: Scenory from last night still installed. Did a flight which was not at all linked to this addon scenery. Infact I never landed at this airport at all. (But yet again I'm not sure if it could still crash it). After landing and parking up, it crashed, this was on default scenery and what I thought was out of range of this free scenery which seemed quite stable. Anyway I'm not sure if any of it has anything to do with the scenery but I just would like it to work on windows 8.1. Maybe it can't i'm not sure. But your experience is better than mine. So Here is the crash information: http://pastebin.com/sgs1rJg0
  19. Yes it's updated to sp2 and I'm not sure I will check and get back to you. As this is very temperamental.
  20. Hello all. I keep doing a flight in the pmdg 737 ngx or any aircraft for that matter and on odd times it will crash which will then force vpilot to give me this messege. It happens more on the pmdg than the a320 by aerosoft. By this point my CPU has pretty much gone to 100% when it has crashed. Sometimes it just freezes and you can only hear the sounds. I have no option but to ctrl alt del. I would really appreciate it if somebody could help me through this error as it is actually a real problem. All I want is to fly vatsim without being worried about the whole thing crashing. Addons. Some UK 2000 free scenery Vpilot Efass Aerosoft airbus X Pmdg 737 ngx Here's Problem: http://oi62.tinypic.com/2isa1af.jpg Computer Specs: Intel Core i5-3570k CPU : 3.40GHz 8gb of Ram GeForce GTX 660 Ti Windows 8.1 Pro Thank you in advanced. Hope my Post is posted well it's my first. I'm new Ps. FSX is in Compatibility mode and running as admin.
