  1. Sorry I'm not really sure how to add the photos on here so here are the photos of the settings guys. http://imgur.com/a/sX5XX Many thanks Bradley Russell So the interesting thing is that I had a feeling this cpu could overclock to that except sadly for me I had no idea how to. Somebody managed to get it up the 4ghz but the motherboard has never been easy for me. I'll put the motherboard spec below in hope maybe you could advise on this so I don't overcook these things. The heat sink is defiantly not a default one and looks very beefy. In fact I'll tell you that all now. Freezer 13 by Arctic Motherboard: Intel DP67BG Many thanks Bradley Russell Also what would you like me to set texture filtering too. Currently at 8 still. I'm seeing a big increase in stuttering now also. it seems to of got worse. Many thanks Brad
  2. Will do now. :-) Sorry Brad Okay so currently my frames are on unlimited. So i guess it may be worth setting that to 60fps? I'm guessing i need to look at something like gpu-z to find this information out? How can i tell what cores it's running on? Sorry i'm still trying to work around the technical sides of this.
  3. So the i7 was overclocked not by me personally but by somebody else to 4ghz apparently but not in the common way. It's on that turbo boost thing. So 3.5ghz to start with then usually more than start. But apparently 4ghz. I wish i knew more about that. These AA settings could you please specify exactly the names of the settings I need to change. I'm sorry to be a pain but am not very familiar with these settings. I've just been using these settings based on others or me testing fps count. Many thanks Bradley Russell
  4. Dear Fellow Simmers, I'm currently in need of some guidance and help, I'm Currently running an i7-3770k @ 4ghz (Supposedly), GTX 970, GTX 610 (More on this later), 16GB Ram, 500gb Samsung EVO SSD for OS and prepar3d, 250GB Samsung EVO SSD for Steam Games and Windows 10 64bit. On top of this I'm running 3 1920x1080p screens capable of 144hz. Currently only at 60hz due to these issues. I also have a host of addons including, orbx, pmdg, and aerosoft. Although i'm only using the ones with v3 installers currently. I haven't even began to look at the 777 as i'm trying to get the ngx to work well first. Initially my plans where to have this setup in surround mode and have Prepar3D across the 3 screens. This didn't work very well as FPS was playing up and it was stuttering like crazy. So I reverted back to extended the screens and just having Prepar3D V3 on one of the 3 screens in windowed mode. After doing this although it was smoother I couldn't help but be saddened that my frames and stuttering was not as good as I had seen others. In fact I went back to just using the one screen as I felt maybe my computer couldn't handle it. Anyway I've been using a mixture of settings including with Nvidia Inspector. I guess I'm just wishing I can get some guidance on my settings and be able to use my sim again properly without worries of lag and frame drops. Here is my settings. http://imgur.com/2g0cPwV <- Nvidia Inspector Settings http://pastebin.com/zWXPDEFk <- P3D Config Many thanks in advanced to anyone who posts here. If you require any further specification just message :-) Bradley ================================= I also forgot to include that i do like using vatsim but currently thats out the picture when fps is so bad. Another thing to mention is I have had FXAA setting on for a while but turned this off recently thinking maybe it wasn't needed. I'm no expert on this so I'm not really sure. Many thanks Bradley
  5. So My Prepar3D was working very poorly for awhile and so was my computer so I got it taken in for tweaking. A very long time later I got it back. I needed to renew and bugfix prepar3d again. So that's what I did. Anyway long story short The Sims fps is not very stable constantly changing between 10-30fps. My Sim has now started crashing every time I start or load it or try and fly. Here is my prepar3d.cfg file attached. My specs will be below aswell. If anymore information is needed just ask. Attached is event viewer logs from typical crash as well. Many thanks in advanced. 6. Sorry where do I find these settings. I use active Sky nsxt so things might be controlled automatically from there. Many thanks Bradley Just done that now. Will get back to you on that. Does anyone uses nvidia inspector for locking fps or anything. I use that. Brad So I can remove bufferpools. Anything else to chAnge for UK like the texture load and fiber frames. I don't know otherwise. Brad Would anyone be able to look at my config and find anything to adjust please. I'm really just wanting to do my live streams and everything. And I've been trying with all sorts for months. Brad
  7. I presumed adding this extra card would take less stress of the 970 when I need that closely running the 3 monitors on surround well. Brad
  8. Thank you for getting back to me so soon, I however have tried many times just a vanilla setup and Have checked that guide several times now. Is there anything in there other than bufferpools that you see to struggle for high density areas especially with my kind of widescreen setup. Addon wise are the free uk2000 airports most. PMDG 737ngx for prepar3d and the aerosoft Airbus x. ASN, REX. And orbx ftx global and England. Anyway thank you so far. Brad
  9. Hi Guys, So I've recently bought Prepar3D 2.5 and already finding issues. I run 4 screens, 3 on surround on a gtx 970 at a total res of 5760x1200 and a small vga monitor on another card for maps. Anyway I get a lot of stuttering. I'm not finding fps very stable either. I have been streaming through OBS aswell which was part of the middle screen and at 1920x1080 res streaming. Anyway I use NVidia inspector purely to set fps to 30. I've tried just without any tweaks and with and still this horrible stutters in the vc and unstable 20-30fps. Below will be my current config. I also use orbx ftx global and England. System --=--=-- i7-3770k @ 4ghz EVGA GTX 970 8gb Ram Current config: http://pastebin.com/fUhTrLgj I must also mention all 3 monitors start at 1920x1200 Many thanks in advanced as I would really like to get prepar woking nicely Bradley I fly around England a lot. Home airport mainly Gatwick (EGKK).
  10. Hello, I have recently upgraded my system because of low performance issues. My new specs are: i7-3770k @ 4.0ghz, GTX 970 4gb and 8gb Ram, Windows 7 Ultimate My config I've been playing with to work out whats gone wrong and I'm still very unsure as my fps can be as low as 8-9 fps in the sky. It also has lag spikes. Before you ask I use 3 monitors 1920x1200 on surround of a resolution of 5760 x 1200 on the gtx 970 (Running the flight). And a smaller monitor on a gtx 610 @ 1280x1024 (This for maps)... I have just used NVidia inspector for locking frames and other various things around on internet in there recommendations. I will attach everything and would appreciate if people could help me fix my FSX and NVidia inspector if need be to get these stable frames. I must also mention that I stream the middle screen on 1920*1080 to twitch sometimes on fsx and obs. Many thanks Bradley FSX CFG (Same on both cfgs performance wise really) 1: http://pastebin.com/ezqqUUR0 FSX CFG 2: http://pastebin.com/M7e4fTmw NVIDIA INSPECTOR profile: http://i.imgur.com/uWRG9ox.png

  12. Hey update to this. I'm getting still about 20-25fps. Could everyone please check my latest config and advice me if necessary. http://pastebin.com/ZEkHb8up
  13. Well taken Bufferpools out and I'm getting silly FPS now at like 15 in Innsbruck test on 737 ngx.... Not great..
  14. Well im trying to OverClock the system. Its actually running at around 3700Mhz for some reason even though Multi is set to 33. If I attempt to move Multi anywhere over 33 it stays at 33. Weird I know.. Anyway Bufferpool now removed. Let me get back to you on how it runs.. Btw I bought ASN.
  15. See I struggle to get 30fps dude.. Only on wingviews and outside views. If that DX10 fixer would help I would buy it. Matt Davies seems to say it's good. So I'm interested. Plus it's Christmas so I can afford it.
  16. I will also ask are my specs acceptable for this. Or am I expecting to much from this? With those 2 things as instructed landing into Innsbruck on the NGX approach tutorial I'm getting this: 2014-12-30 13:19:18 - fsx Frames: 2587 - Time: 117126ms - Avg: 22.087 - Min: 17 - Max: 45 It lacks Frames in the VC as I said. In Gatwick taking off in 777 is about 21fps avg. And in sky at 9000ft about 23fps.. It's deffiently not right.. Using the uk2000 free EGKK scenery I'm thinking of getting DX10 Fixer. Could this improve things? If you get to me today I will buy it today straight away. Also buying ASN today because I don't like free weather engines. Not that I run them.
  17. I believe hyperthreading is turned off. I have attempted to go into the bios but it's all very confusing. It Prob could be over clocked so I've been told if I new how to do it. Would you like my skype. You clearly know more than ME haha. Thank you. Anything you need just ask
  18. Hello, Hoping somebody can help before I lose the will to live. I have reciently got 3 Triple monitors for my flight sim experience. I am getting an Average of about 22fps. It gets high FPS everywhere else other than the VC. But none of it is constant. I have it set on Unlimited. I use Eyeinfinity of a Resolution of 5760x1200. My Specs will be below. I run orbx Global and Orbx England, and it looks terrible.. So does REX which is unlike before. I hope somebody can help as there is very little information about AMD around. Its what I have and what I was able to get hold off. The Specs are still pretty decent in my opinion. Just wish the game would react fps wise. Anyway thank you in advanced. Any more information needed don't hesitate to contact me. Intel i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30Ghz Windows 7 Ultimate, AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series, 3x Monitors Eyefinity at 5760x1200, Foxconn Rattler Motherboard and 8GB Ram/Memory. FSX CFG File: http://pastebin.com/inuV5FRQ Btw I have tried many tweaks now.
  19. Thank you for all the advice. Got a brand new computer coming, well a computer with some pretty decent specs in my opinion. I see p3d in 3x screen setup coming soon LOL. Here are the specs, would love some suggestions on add ons and tweaks. Many thanks Specs i5-2500k 3.3ghz Windows 7 Ultimate 8gb Ram ATI 6870 Graphics card
  20. Right so managed to get hold of a new computer coming, but need some advice that it's FSX worthy. Because It's an ATI graphics card instead of an Nvidia. The whole computer seems pretty dam decent but your community will know better than i do. Anyway here are the specs below and my intentions for setup. This can vary depending on your advice. Specs i5-2500k 3.3ghz Windows 7 Ultimate 8gb Ram ATI 6870 Graphics card My Intentions are to run 3 1920x1080 monitors on this setup with the ATI duel screen thing. But any opinions on this are grateful also. Won't be running 3 monitors until christmas when i POSSIBLY get them LOL. Many thanks Bradley Russell
  21. Right so after what seems like alot of nothing. Even with no time acceleration what so ever it just crashed game when I landed. But it varys by time. Back to stackhash error...
  22. Thanks guys. But it seems as if I'm reluctant to get p3d just incase it decidies to crash also. But after going through all reasons of stackhash with FSX I presume it's to do with graphics. So using this would surely solve it. Also the migration tool. Yes/no? Or should I stay away from it?
  23. Thank you everyone. So basically my next question Is quite simple really. Which copy do I get? I see a like $50 one and I like the sound of that. Mind you new computer setup soon with windows 7. I wanted to have p3d on this system because it's better and can run 3 screens. But with these stackhash ctds that won't disapear even after pretty much everything suggested I'm at knots here... Many thanks Bradley
