Found in my haste to start flying that I hadn't checked the default FSW settings. Settings/Display/Graphical: Graphics, Aircraft, Scenery were all set to "Lo" As a result had terrible Graphics, Aircraft & scenery Once I changed them all to "Ultra", appearance was vastly improved. I wonder how many people loaded FSW, flew on the defaults & then chucked it in?? T45

Running P3Dv3.4. P3D is configured such that 99% of my aircraft 'Hot Start'. ie, when they are loaded onto the Active Runway via P3D Flight Set Up, the engines are idling & it only needs a few tweaks/settings peculiar to each aircraft to have them ready for take off. I have a couple of aircraft that at this stage only load up 'Cold' & so far I haven't been able to find any settings in their coding or menus to change that. I would like to get them into Hot Start mode but am not sure how to do that. I wondered if somewhere in Aircraft.cfg, or other files, there is some code that instructs the 'Hot Start' situation.? Anyone know if that is the case & what it is??

Yes That works. Have to take out the / on 2 lines in the Flight Save screen, & off you go. Thanks

Where exactly do you do the / to - edit? I tried on the 'Select Airport' table page, but couldn't gt an editable text by left or right mouse clicking. Thanks

Ok Thank you I run P3Dv3.4 & have PTA with Adamski_163_13 operating. The three Views of the same scene below were taken in South Chile. I am trying to figure out why the ground colors I see in the 1st 2 Views are not as rich as the 3rd, & if it is possible to fix that? Ideally I would like Views 1 & 2 to have the same color palette as 3. I don't think it is necessarily an Adamski_163_13 issue, as I have noticed before using it that my Top Down View always has richer colors than the Spot or Cockpit. Outside View - Spot Cockpit View - Cockpit VR View - Occulus Cockpit

Can someone who has installed it clarify whether you can 'customize" just 1 airport, or does it put the customization chosen across all default airports?? For instance, if I want to put a small hangar on one selected default airport will it do that? Thanks

I have a number of older aircraft that I have been able to retrofit a 3rd party AP/GPS unit into & have it work by tweaking the Aircraft.cfg & Panel.cfg. files. When the AP/GPS is activated the aircraft will climb to the set height at the set VS, following the Flight Plan GPS track to the destination. I do this as my eyes aren't the best & I can't watch a screen for the entirety of a 2 hour flight. However, I have a few aircraft that accept the AP/GPS unit, light up the correct buttons when I push AP, Nav, GPS & Alt on the unit, but won't follow the GPS track. I am trying to find where the programming for the AP/GPS is hidden so I can, if possible, tweak it & get AP/GPS working. Any thoughts? Thanks

www.fullterrain.com You need to Register to get support. Look at the Support section of the Orbx page. There should be instructions in there on how to do it. You need to put the Purchase Code for an Orbx Product you have purchased in your Orbx Online Name Signature. Once you have that set up you can ask a question in a Forum. There are quite a few. Look for one close to what you have a problem with, they will redirect it if its in the wrong forum. They are generally pretty good at answering queries once you are registered, as outline above.
