  1. MMB hold/scroll to zoom doesn't work either as a result :(
  2. Maybe... anyways i've got it where it sounds good on my hardware
  3. I find 20% engine volume with everything else at 100% sounds pretty realistic with my audio setup. It may vary with yours though
  4. I decided to upload a 1 min video showcasing this issue along with the ones immediately related to it: READ THE DESCRIPTION
  5. Oh here we go with the flakey avsim insults. I'll just fly the 320
  6. So its realistic that the aircraft is a full bar uncoordinated for 5-10 seconds after rolling out smoothly and slowly on to final at vref+5 fully configured with no weather?
  7. Just did a flight in the -300. The issue wasn't as pronounced as in the -200 I guess because of the longer arm of the tail and higher approach speeds.
  8. That's the premise of my post. Happens with the a/p engaged too. Simmers won't notice if they're not handflying it though.
  9. No no no... you misunderstand, holding bank angles is fine, the yaw damper catches up eventually. Its when rolling out of turns when its most problematic esp rolling out on short final and the airplane is in an slip from the turn. I guarantee that doesn't happen in the real thing. I would coordinate it myself, but i've got a twisty joystick and it doesn't feel good... besides it is a problem that needs fixing.
  10. Surprised no one has brought this up before. I guess simmers don't handfly as much as they should lol. Your using a computer to use another computer if you just let the autopilot handle everything :D
  11. Why does there have to be a stupid rule for everything? Trust in experienced pilots' judgment and let the new guys learn from that.
  12. I've noticed that at slow airspeeds both the 747 and the 777 do not stay coordinated rolling into/out of turns. Is this an accurate simulation (I've heard that there is never a need to touch the rudders except take off and landing in large airliners) or is it a bug, either on my end or yours? This problem doesn't exist on the 737.
  13. When I bought chaseplane I was going to disable it, but I noticed no difference than before it was installed.
  14. If there's anything you know about your planes situation it's the fma. ALWAYS know your fma!
  15. I was in a 152 on final a couple of months ago and lost 15 knots to windshear. Thankfully we were going 70 so the airplane flew fine, but it was a little startling. Experience is the best teacher for sure!
  16. I'd love to like the 757v2 but the sounds are absolutely horrid (the worst offender is the pack sounds) and there are some autoflight logic bugs. With a little love, and attention to detail it could be a great addon.
  17. Trim issues have been smoothed out with a new joystick (elevator noise didn't agree with the fbw computers) but i'm still having issues with the yaw damper at slow speeds. The issue is most apparent when rolling out of a turn that the yaw damper has gotten comfortable with and doesn't seem to want to return the rudder to its original position. Also when rolling into turns, the bank angle must be held for about 5 seconds before the yaw damper will coordinate the plane. I can see how this might feel nice in the real thing, but with a twisty joystick it's not so good. Is this normal yaw damper logic, or is there a problem? (I have the same issue in the 747 but not the 737) Thanks!
  18. Sorry, didn't mean to insinuate that something was wrong, I was just wondering of this was realistic as the airbus logic will accelerate the engine at the same speed no matter what the target. Anyways, question answered thanks!
  19. @flightdeck2sim I wasn't talking about at different altitudes. If i'm on the ground and i set a target n1 of 30% then the engine will take it's sweet time getting there, but if I need thrust and I need it now, ill set a target of 60% and the engine accelerates to 30% n1 much quicker whereupon I retard the target to 30% in order to maintain the thrust I want. As far as I know this shouldn't happen.
  20. That's definitely not how a real pilot would think jcpg. Just enjoy the plane. Less things to do means more handflying time!
  21. I've noticed that the higher n1 target you set, the harder the engine tries to get there. That's not the case in the jet aircraft I'm familiar with but I don't know if this is the case for the 737
  22. You will never stop learning new things about these computerized airplanes even as a real pilot! Thats the joy of it all.
  23. I find it hard to believe that my sim is working properly. It can't possibly have been intended for the trim and coordination to be so jumpy and sloppy?
  24. If the real 777 jumps around like a jackrabbit to maintain airspeed then i've got no complaints. If theres something I can do to fix it then please tell me. (yes i've got the latest version/my controls are set up correctly through fsuipc)
