Except that when you purchased it, it was advertised as early access. They were very clear about that. As for it being a decent product, I certainly have no complaints as to where it's at. Sure it's not perfect, but very few things regarding this hobby really is.

Somehow it has now worked. I didn't do anything different than before so I have no idea why. Weird.

Was told no to purchasing coin outside of the marketplace. As for the purchasing not going past the black screen - if the solutions they gave don't fix it there's nothing they can do. Will just periodically keep trying and see if it changes I guess.

None of the solutions zendesk gave me worked so they've wiped their hands of it now.

Yeah, It makes it that far, then the xbox loading icon spins for a few secs before a blank black box. I close out of it and the error message stating something went wrong and i wasn't charged.

I'm not able to make any purchases through the marketplace. I've tried signing out of my Xbox and Microsoft store accounts, I've tried opening MSFS 24 through both accounts and still have no luck. I've lodged a ticket, just wondering if there's any solutions anyone knows about?

This may be s simple fix, or even user error, but since the update I can't get the comm radio's to work. They're just black screens.

Still haven't been able to get this exam to work. The helicopter crashes before I start.

Ok, so has anyone had this happen before? I go to take the exam and before I can even get to the 'fly now' page, I fail cause the aircraft has crashed.

In the air at the moment, everything seems super smooth. As others have stated, 2020 will be uninstalled now!

Was weird, ended up shutting it all down, restarting and leaving it for the night. Tried again tonight with no issues. I assume it was some kind of user error. Thanks for the help though.

Using the menu at the top of the screen once the flight is loaded. I tried it initially by changing the time in the free flight screen before i started the flight but still get the same problem.

Yeah MSFS 2024, trying a flight now (10:30pm my time), so I change the in game clock to earlier in the morning and after 20 secs or so it goes back to night again.

Hey, not sure if its something i'm doing but whenever I try and wind the clock back to daytime (i'm in Australia), it keeps reverting back to live time. Anyone else have this issue?

I uninstalled 2020 when 2024 came out. 2024 obviously had/has it's issues but I persisted with it. I still enjoy it and plan to use that most of the time, I only installed 2020 again 2 days ago because I missed flying the Max 8. The entire time I had 2020 in the first place I never had that issue. I'm not saying 2024 had anything at all to do with it. I've been at work so haven't had a chance to test it again, but will see how it goes.

It's not via steam, and i was just installing the wbsim 172. I don't see how that would remove an entire sim. I'm reinstalling it again, will see what happens. Thanks for the ideas though.

So I re-installed 2020 to work alongside 2024, mainly to keep flying the Max 8. I had it working well, did a flight this morning with it. I was using 2024 while i installed some other previous addons into 2020 and noticed the entire sim has been uninstalled! Is this a thing that will keep happening?

That seems to have fixed it. The bindings were on reverse axis for some reason. You guys are legends!

Ok, so I've reinstalled 2020 cause i was getting sick of not being able to fly the Max 8. I'm having a slight issue however. It seems that if I press escape for any reason, when i go to resume the flight the engines shut off. I checked and don't have ESC mapped to anything other than toggle pause. I've tested it numerous times now. Am I missing something simple?

Stuck at 0% - Loading Language. All good though, I get it's busy. Gotta go to work soon anyway so will let it load until I get home.

Did you try re-downloading it? There was some issues with an update if I remember correctly. I had that issue, redownloading it fixed it. They put it up on discord.

There's only been 2 trailers. I think we should all hold our differing disappointments until they have released more info.
