Tutorial: Upgrade X-Plane 11 Baron 58 GPS
I am trying this in Xplane 12.3. It works well in the King Air C90B. But it does not work in the Baron 58. Looking into the folder structure I suspect that the garmin in the Baron 58 is related to the items in objetcs/Instrument/Garmin instead of the panels.

MSFS business model poll
It is my understanding that the main part of ED's business is MCS, not DCS. Totally different type of customer

January 16th, 2025 MSFS Development Update
I have the feeling that they should have delayed de release date 3 to 6 months. The sim is just not finish, even taking into account the "dynamic nature" of software development nowadays.

Who all stayed or went back to 2020 after 2024 released
I'm just doing some VFR flying with the C172 and Optica at MSFS 2024. I like the career mode but I've run into too many bugs, so I'll leave it on standby for the moment. And I have no intention of playing with third-party plugins until native versions are available. I've had my fair share of bugs over the years. Fortunately today I have other simulators to enjoy while they solve the problems with MSFS24.

CitationMax today (2300Z) for Torquesim CJ and TDS GTNxi
$85 I'm pretty sure it will be a well developed airplane, but I would have to think about how much use I'd get out of it. https://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/product_info.php/take-command-torquesim-citationjet-525-p-222

Which version of 24 to buy?
Yes, both have a great potential especially considering the new career mode in MSFS 2024 and the Honeywell avionics will be a breath of fresh air.

Xplane 12 video update
A very interesting interview with a person that knows his craft and is commited to it.

Which version of 24 to buy?
Most of the planes of the premium editions that are interesting to me are made by Carenado. They make very nice planes, but their systems depth is, to date, just bellow what I would prefer. My current plan is to wait at least a couple of weeks after the release and see what they offer prior to make any decision. Anyway, it will take some time for the thrid party addons that I currently use to take full advantage of the new features of MSFS 2024. There is absolutely no rush on my part.

Is Premium Deluxe for 2024 worth it if I own it for 2020?
I am quite suprised about the discusión regarding the "transferability" of MSFS 2020 default planes. I can be wrong, but I assumed the developers already explained that any MSFS2020 plane you already own (99% of them) will be compatible with MSFS2024. However, and this I think is the important point, those planes will not enjoy the new capabilities of MSFS2024 unless the developer adapt them to MSFS2024 standards/API/whatever. So, my interpretation is that if you have a premium edition of MSFS2020 you will be able to use those planes in MSFS2024 as they function in MSFS2020. But if you do not buy a premium edition of MSFS2024, you will not have the new capabilities like the walk around interaction with the plane and other things.

Is It Time to Give Up?
I was in a similar situation in the past for several months. In my case, the cause of the issues was a totally unrelated software, a photo edition program called Capture One. I discovered this threat only by pure luck and it was my exact problem just by chance: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/bug-logged-ctd-caused-by-capture-one-20-codec/452538 I am not tech savvy enough to do this type of forensic analisys, but I put the link in case you can find something that could help you with diagnostic technics.

Carenado stuff
I totally agree. It is a nice addon to consider by anyone interested in these type of aircrafts.

Torquesim C525...
I didn't know about this project. My first impression is very good

XP 12 platform update at FSExpo
Sometimes it seems like there are a lot of shareholders out there. 😂 I may be a weird person, but I enjoy both MSFS and X-Plane. I think I'll wait to see which of the 777s I will buy. And the final decision will surely not be based in any 'market logic'.
