Compiling a traffic file
If you're talking about TrafficTools you don't have to delete anything. Simply change the FP and recompile. I hope this helps.

Problems With Touch and Go Flights
Good point Tom. Maybe I should re-read those files myself! :( I've had good results seperating them by only one minute. TNG's are probably my favorite thing to do with AI. They make for good screen shots when you're in the AI.

Reverse the times in your FP. I'd also read the FP section of the help files that came with the TT's program...excellent read! Good luck.

Flight Ontario CYDF Deer Lake release Date
That's exactly what's happening. It's a shared hosting account, so bandwidth isn't what we'd like it to be. The server is working fine, I just checked it, it just can't keep up with the demand of Al's fine scenery. Please be patient, and keep trying. Later in the evening might be a better time. I guess it's time to look for a new hosting company. The boss isn't gonna like this! :(

FS manager replacement?
Sorry I can't answer your question, but why not learn how to do AI manually. There are still a lot of TTools bgl's out there, and AI utilities to make working with the .txt (source files) very easy to work with. You'd be able to modify those huge txt files, and do all the things you want to do, fairly easily. It's really not that hard, and a lot of fun once you get the hang of it.

Question about the RealAir172
Ditto! Check the site for detailed installation instructions and a little more info about the plane, but that's about the extent of it. It's a great a/c to fly, especially if you like it low and slow. It's the only a/c I fly! I know it's based on a real world airplane, but I just don't care for the colors, so I repainted it.

Any hardcore IFR/IMC pilots out there?
Is it though? I used to use the Jeppesen real world weather in the sim EXCLUSIVLEY. Right after MS shut Aces down, I noticed my weather was wrong just about every time I'd run the sim, and I don't fly as often as I once did because of it. I figured MS didn't want to spend the $ on a discontinued business model. I started setting weather to one of the pre-sets, or customizing the weather based on local reporting. But, I'm hearing several people saying that it's still accurate for them, and several that are using 3rd party WX programs. Does anyone know for a fact that Jeppesen is still supplying real world weather in the sim? I'm guessing that it's more "regionalized" than it once was, but I don't know for sure. I've been away from FS for a while and I'm very curious...I'll have to check it again, but your feed back is very much appreciated. Thanks!

The scrolling AI text
Definately the easier way to go and a lot more fun!! Just remember to be in windowed mode when using Explorer. :(

That gives me the most enjoyment. I cut my teeth at DC3 Airways...the old ways, for sure. Now I'm flying RealAir's 172 exclusively.

- Panel Cfg- Deactivate a line? Add remarks? How.
Yes, it's quite handy making notes to yourself within the cfg file itself. Punch card system...wow! My wife was using one of those at work when I met her! She worked for Rick Fortran back in the day. We're dating ourselves here. :(- Panel Cfg- Deactivate a line? Add remarks? How.
You use the foreslash charachter, as you see in the sample below. The most important thing to remember is to make a copy (backup) of that file before you start playing with it. R/click the file, copy. R/click in a blank space in the same folder, paste. ******************************// This aircraft configuration file is made for the DHC-2 Beaver amphibian version 1// made by Andrey Tsvirenko and developed for "De Havilland of Canada - Beaver" by Aerosoft// Flight dynamics developed by Alexander M.
