  1. Sim. I should clarify, however, 20 to 30 gallons total would be my usual situation. Although, I confess one trip from KBKL to KEKM saw me landing with about 7 gallons and conservation measures were needed..
  2. I don’t disagree. I recreate flights that I would have otherwise driven to clients, those flights average around 1 hour to 1.5 hours. I am notoriously cheap and carry a light fuel load as I am trying as best as possible to get the cheapest fuel possible and/or mitigate landing fees that might get waived with fuel purchase. Hauling fuel burns more fuel. So keeping the tanks as balanced as possible works for me. I am planning a longer trip from KEKM > KHIB in about 3 weeks that will certainly have me topped up, and we will drain from the tips before we hit the mains, and surely it won’t be every 20 minutes. I think we can all agree though, that this plane has created an enlightening experience into the subtle realities of ownership for everyone who is serious about GA.
  3. Very concise, thank you. I read this as well over at that forum. I only go at it with the fullest tank, and switch out about every 20 minutes or so.
  4. I am guessing that Bob could give you a pretty good argument about this statement…
  5. https://fselite.net/content/verticalsim-announces-provo-municipal-for-msfs/ Provo Municipal
  6. Same issue here, and looked on AVSIM first to see if it had been reported. I figured Windows did an update or something. Once I got in and flying there were no issues.
  7. KSBN - South Bend, In. Home to several airlines, has a FedEx facility, a couple of busy FBO’s. Home to the Fighting Irish! Nobody has done this airport.
  8. Maybe to get this back on track, and without prejudice to anything written previously in this thread, but the speed feels and my sense of it seems accurate.
  9. I am only on my third flight, but you certainly appreciate all of the small details. I started mine as a new airplane, and am doing everything possible to fly it by the check lists, and great prudence as well. My last landing at KBMI was so smooth, that I simply can’t wait to go back. It really makes me want to learn more about the plane, which I am doing now. It will be difficult going back to any of my other planes. This was a long time in the making, but my utmost appreciation and respect for what the A2A team did here, as they exceeded any expectation I had for this project.
  10. It would be interesting to hear of any interesting maintenance events that occur during the journey! I just took my first flight and it clearly exceeded my expectations.
  11. New video from Dreams of Wings to go with the launch:
  12. I suspect it’s pretty close. Regarding the other comments on price, I always have lived by the principle that price is what what you pay, value is what you receive.
  13. Hopefully this thread moves on to those wanting to appreciate and enjoy this gem. Personally, if you aren’t interested in the aircraft, move on., you are just a dark cloud that pollutes every positive thread here.
