Excellent way of doing it Robert. The SU1 will get the majority of us back flying with the plane with no problems. Looking forward to gettting no sleep tonight.Secondly, I would like to introduce everyone to Vin's blue blob's long lost brother, green blob. He was found wandering in cyber space. He wishes his bother well in his recovery from that recent knife attack.

Excellent news, will keep me quiet for some time.RegardsLee

Hi Robert,Sounds great! I'm a newcomer to the plane and haven't even flown it yet, even though I installed it into FS2002 just the other day right after I purchased it. I've been too busy doing a few things, one of which is installing and configuring FS2004. And I had decided I would just wait for the patch. I was sure hoping to get to try this aircraft out in FS2004 and am delighted to hear that I will be able to do just that this evening! I've read a lot of posts(and made a few, hope I didn't offend anyone in them) and I am not a really experienced pilot. But this plane sounds incredibly complex, and just plain incredible! Guess I didn't even know what I was buying into. But after reading here I've gotten the feeling I'm really in for something, just hope I'm not in over my head. :-abduct Well, I'm sure I'll get the hang of it given some time, and reading, and probably asking questions on here. :-)Anyway, I mostly I wanted say Thank You!Sincerely,One Tin Soldier

Robert,This is GREAT NEWS! :) I have two questions though. First of all, if there are nasty side effects can I just re-install the origional over top of the patched version without having to re-register? Just want to make sure I won't need to unlicence prior to re-installing the origional if I want to. Second, are the occasional autopilot problems just in FS9 or are they in 2002 also? Thanks so much for patching in two different updates. I am REALLY excited to be able to use VNAV in descents! :)-Shaun

If I place an original order tomorrow, will I get the 737NG with the Service Update 1 ??Regards, jack noullet

Do those who have already attempted to install the plane into FS9 (with the .cfg modifications suggested elsewhere in this forum, but not by PMDG) need to uninstall the NG from FS9 before going ahead with the patch, or will the patch just write over it?Thanks,Andrew

Robert,Ya'll never seem to stop amazing me with your customer service and willingness to go the "extra mile" to make your products as close to perfect as possible. Ya'll did it in the Fly! days and I'm delighted that you are continuing the tradition as you transition to MSFS. Although I know you would have preferred that the 737 sas closer to perfect at original issue, it may indeed be a blessing in disguise. Now folks that were not familiar with you company were able to get a look at what true first class service is all about. Thanks for all the hard work all of your team has put forth! Now get the patch out and have a couple of "cold ones" :)George Stoddard

Robert,I have been so impressed with your team and their dedication to customer service. Your announcement is such GREAT news. I have been flying the 737-700/winglet in FS2004. Most of my problems I just looked over until the patch. You have established a plane of extreme realism. Being a PIC767 flyer, it is such a joy to see another plane elevate the bar of excellence. You have been very upfront with the community on where PMDG has been with the development and testing of this update. You are to commended for EXCELLENCE. As an long time MSFS "nut", I welcome you and the team to our sim, I know you guys did great work in the FLY sim, but it is our gain to have you with us.THANKS :-)Bob JohnsonDenver

Hi Andrew,The patch should update FS9 for you. Many of the testers have loaded the plane into FS9 and then loaded the patch.George

Totally agree with Bob here!!A big applaus for PMDG team which effort raises the FS realism by 10 times! Now the only airplane that my mouse select is the PMDG and with this patch it's going to be too good :-lolKeep up the great work PMDG!!http://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...or=SVA1&a=a.jpg

Hi Robert !Well, that's the middle of the night, so I think I'll not wait for the patch, but I don't want to go to bed without having sent to you a great THANKS for your great job, at PMDG, technicaly speaking, of course, but also for the great relationship you've established betwen us, your customers, and you. That's quite unique in this market and needed AMHO to be mentioned.Sorry for my English ...Pascal BonnetParis, Francehttp://forums.avsim.com/user_files/27201.jpg

Robert,Thank you so much for the update, news of the release, and the discount offer on the 800/900 - you guys are a class act.If the remeaining problem with SP1 only affects FS2004, I'll just stay in 2002 with it for the time being. Are you guys still considering widening the beta testing? I'd be happy to help test SP2 when the time comes.Ryan
