Randy,A bit off topic but is there a way now to turn off the interior cockpit lights in VC mode at night? It is very bright at night in VC mode. Thanks.

They are off when in 2D but when I switch to VC, they are on? Am I doing something wrong? What I mean is along the part of the panel where the PFD/ND is, there is no way to shut off the light that lights up that part of the panel in VC.

I dont mean to be rude--looks awesome, i havent been on FS lately so i dont have a fresh image of the panel, I really love the MCP, Im glad the lights have been added, looks awesome!! However Im trying to notice the changes in the RA, is it that it is now in a black box? I really like how the gear handle disappears now too! really excellent, sry for being blind! Have a great one!EDIT: The screws being fixed looks cool too!! Is there any plans to add ALT/SPD INterventention in the 800/900?

"However Im trying to notice the changes in the RA, is it that it is now in a black box?' Yes, that is how it appears in the real PFD. It makes a huge difference on TO for me, the black border really drws my attention to the RA now, before it was harder to even notice this, my screenshots do not due it justice...."Is there any plans to add ALT/SPD INterventention in the 800/900?" That might be a option coming for the 800-900, it's a bit early to know anything for sure but it's being looked at ;)[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. There is no switch to "dim" the floodlights in the VC. The PMDG737 handles lighting differently than the default airplanes. In the default aircraft, the VC lighting is basically a single point light defined by the aircraft.cfg file that creates an overall ambient light glow throughout the entire cockpit (that horrid pink light). The floodlights in the NG are basically created by overlaying a texture(pmdg_vc_one_L.bmp) over the day image. Because of this, the floodlights of the panel can easily be modified by the user with a painting program to make it darker if desired. However, MSFS does some funny things with those night textures in different lighting conditions, so its appearance is not consistant during different times of dusk/dawn/night so it is difficult to get the perfect look, but we preferred it over the pink ambient light. Why do you want your attention drawn to the RA during TO?I agree it is much easier to read. Lee Hetherington (KBED)

awesome thanks a ton for showing me what i asked! really loev it, thx this looks amazing!

Very nice looking indeed. A much better artwork, congrats!Maybe he meant to say Landings and not TOs?Best,Bruno Francescoli.

I did not mean to suggest that I was fixated on it, only that it catches my attention more although I do glace at a positive rate ;). Landings are nice with it too or much better displayed with the black border..[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-5/196432/winglets_lg.jpg
