October 8, 200322 yr Does the gear work as in the real plane now? So it can be set to "off" position during flight? Btw, does anyone know what's the purpose of the "off" position?
October 8, 200322 yr The gear has always worked like the real deal, all you need to do is RETRACT gear then place your mouse on the gear area and click ONCE.I have no idea why the bird has an OFF position. Maybe a gear safety issue of some type? My ignorance speaks loads here lol....[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-5/196432/winglets_lg.jpg Randy J Smith
October 8, 200322 yr Randy,Looks great! But it looks to me as if the A/P disconnect bar on the illuminated panel is the 'old' one:-hmmm GreetingsThomas
October 8, 200322 yr Commercial Member Hi Musashi,Just for your information, it isn't an FD arm light, but tells the pilots which FCC is supplying commands for the FD bars. The first FD turned on will be in command. However, engaging either autopilot has priority. So if the left FD was turned on first, the left FCC is in command. If you switch on the right autopilot, the right FCC will automatically take over. Vice versa. The light indicates MA as an abbreviation for MASTER.Regards,Mark Mark Foti Author of aviaworx - https://www.aviaworx.com
October 8, 200322 yr Excellent work!!!Now the MCP panel is as real as it gets. The TO/GA button remains in the same position or the SU2 relocates it somewhere else?:-) Vassilis Beglis
October 8, 200322 yr Great stuff, Randy and PMDG.I see the RA height has also been adjusted :-)I'm very impressed with the team's response to customer suggestions ;-)Thanks.Cheers.Ian.P.S. BTW, will the whiskey compass be fixed in SU-2?
October 8, 200322 yr Hey im really thinking of buying this plane. However im bit of a VC nut, and i like flying at night mainly. Can someone post 1 or 2 shots of the VC at night like in 800x600 (preferably fs9).:)I say this cause i heard the VC has some lighting problems. Long as its fairly consistant i dont mind, but i did see 1 dusk screenshot where the lighting looked pretty wrong on some of the panel/gauges.
October 8, 200322 yr No sir, that picture had the AP bar UP in the night shot, here it is at night with it off, and you can see it matches ;). As for the F/D MAster light, what you guys think of this?http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/41838.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/41839.jpg[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. October 8, 200322 yr Sunbeam, please sir, sign your real name to your posts in this forum, thank you! As for the VC, there are some changes going on as we speak, give a little time to post some new screen shots...[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. October 9, 200322 yr I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me how to delete messages I create? I can not find where to do this. Thanks,Scott M.
October 9, 200322 yr The "OFF" position is telling you that. When reaching a cruise alt. the "OFF" position is selected and the gear is not preasurized. On a Boeing there is a uplock in the wheel well that the gear rests on. Douglas's rest on the door. Airbus has a internal uplock inside the actuator.Hope this helps.Jay:-wave i9-13900KS | ASUS Z790 Maximus | Lian Li Galahad II Trinity | G-Skill DDR5-7200 CL34 2x16 | Nvidia 4090 FE | Samsung 990 Pro x 2
