November 12, 200322 yr Everyone-thanks for your suggestions. Our current priorities are the second Service Update (any day now... unless we discover any major problems) and the 737-800/900 Upgrade. The next major project has already been decided. We'll let you know when the time has come... (will be soon)Sincerely,
November 12, 200322 yr Hey!! it's been any day now for 0.1 days (since the above post) and the patch is still not released!!! Just kidding :)
November 12, 200322 yr ROFL. I think payware companies shoul dhave to come to me and ask "What panel should we do next?" j/kCan you give us an idea of what plane you will be modelling next? PSS gave us a hint by saying 6 throttle levers. Tricked us kinda. I really hope it is not an Airbus. the thing about the bus is if you have the 320 then you basically have the 319,321,330,340 (without the 4 engines). Airbus made the cockpit commonality for economic reasons and not to keep the pilots interest going. Fortuantely in the virtual world, the pilot interest is more important. A VERY detailed 777 would be nice but I stick with my initial MD11 choice.
November 12, 200322 yr Like Marc stated, after the current project is completed we will hear what plans, if any, PMDG have regarding a new project. Of course one can assume they will choose an aircraft that many people would desire.... [h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-5/196432/winglets_lg.jpg Randy J Smith
November 12, 200322 yr I realized my sentence didn't make much sense... I hope it's a little more clear now. ;)
November 13, 200322 yr >> Of course one can assume they will choose an aircraft that many people would desire....Sigh, not enough info regarding Airbus, Mc.Donnell Douglas probably not enough would desire. So that can only be a Boeing again. 737 NG, Aerowinx PS1, of course 767 V2, then I'm saturated with Boeings ...Mike
November 14, 200322 yr I'm with you Eric!Everyone complains about them, but I've always took off and landed without a hitch... ;)
December 12, 200322 yr I vote for a 777 next from PMDG. The 737NG is a great plane and with all you are learning from it, your 777 would rule!!Jim Boland [email protected]
December 12, 200322 yr PMDG team:just a quick message, I would like to hear your ideas. I know the 737 is an ongoing project, and I know you get these sort of posts left and right.... but I am curious as to your views on an airbus project. I know that there are two main ones out at the moment but neither are up to high standard (performance issues, and functionality). It would be nice to see a PMDG airbus up to the standard of your 737. What do you think?Richard
December 12, 200322 yr I remember a thread where the next project after SU2 and the 800/900 series was fixed as a 747-400, which i personally highly appreciate, because i do not know a real good representation of that famous aircraft around...except onw ould like to spend a huge amount of money for PS 1.3correct me if i am wrong.Regarding information from Airbus...i will not name the source but i could provide you with complete specifications, SOP Holger Kneib
December 12, 200322 yr No you are correct, it's going to be a 747-400 after the 737 series are complete..[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. Smithhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/betaimg.jpg Randy J Smith
December 12, 200322 yr IF you are interested in doing a Saab 340 when you are done with the 747 please let me know, I fly them, and can get you any kind of pictures, or information on them that you would like if you are ever interested just email me at [email protected]
