Since Robert announced that we were going to be notified by e-mail of the availability of SU2, I can't help but checking my mailbox every hour or so. My heart just skipped a beat when I found a message titled 'New patch...' and almost forgot to read the rest '...adds inches'. Huh? Soon found out this patch was about enhancing a somewhat different kind of hobby...Hope it doesn't take too long anymore, or I might get into some unforseen trouble (which might have it's own advantages though).Paul

hi,You can just leave Outlook express running in the background (if you use outlook) and set it to check for mail every 2 mins. I set mine to 10 minutes but you can set it to check your mail every minute if you want :-PAndrewPS. If when it checks for mail it finds new mail and the program is minimized it will show a little pop up that lasts for like 5 seconds next to the clock saying how many new messeges you have, I think it will play a sound also.

Aren't we all just big dorks?! :)I've increased the AVSIM hit counters by an exponential factor waiting for this and the "other" patches to be released. It's nuts. HEY - too bad PMDG couldn't use some sort of "BitTorrent" method for file transfer. I use it often for trading live music recordings, and it is a great distributed method, and it would relieve the server load... unfortunately, there is *zero* security with it, so I doubt it would be considered. :) I forgot if the PMDG installer has the security, or if it was the download process. This lull between patches is allowing me to update my rig (adding memory and a new motherboard). Perhaps when I am done with the upgrade, the update will be awaiting download! Eagerly (but NOT impatiently) awaiting! Thanks for keeping us in the loop, PMDG!-Greg

Yeah I've spent the last month upgrading my rig. Now works with 2 21 inch monitors for dual view with fs9 and pmdg. Dual views are very cool. But I'm done upgrading and would like me some SU2 now. I'm ready to develop an instant flu if comes out today. I've lost all shame with this, i'll do anything and say anything! *cough cough*Josh
