I thank you guys for doing what you're doing. I haven't been able to get on you server but I'm still enjoying flying the 737 version I have. Thanks for freeing up my time to spend with my family and doing the honey do list. Captains-Lefteris and I are continueing to do double duty monitoring the server for problems.We are in nearly continual consultation with our server support folks in Dallas and they are also monitoring the server.Currently the server is producing download rates that are HIGHER than we had originally expected- the end result being that once a user gets on the server- they should be able to download the file as fast as thir bandwidth will accept the transfer.Right now the vast majority of you are unable to access the server beause we have intentionally limited the number of people who can be on it at any given time- so as to ensure that those who ARE on the server get in/out as rapidly as possible and with the least opportunity for download errors.We are currently in the process of raising the number of allowed users which will slightly decrease the transfer times toward our expected rate, but will allow more folks simultaneous access.So why do YOU keep getting the "unavailable" flag? Well... Here is a simple description:There are so many of you hitting the server so continually that the traffic effectively amounts to a Denial of Service Attack in scope and breadth. This is precisely why we have limited the access to the server to such a narrow band- because it prevents the server from having to be tied up by excessive hits and requests for information....We appreciate some of the humor that has been posted in the forum regarding "alternate sunday activites." It is refreshing to see that so many of you recognize just how high the demand load is for the server right now!For those who are frustrated and feel that PMDG is not making sound decisions- we offer our apologies. We have alot more expertise in running PMDG's operations than anyone else- and while the decision to limit server access might be unpopular- we feel it is ultimately the better of many possible options for everyone involved.So we'd ask that you please remember a few things:1) We are here, active and will continue to work with you as we ALWAYS HAVE. Our goal is to get all of you taken care of in the shortest time possible.2) We have been very vocal about the fact that some of you may wait for an extended period before getting access to the server.3) Sitting at your machine with 25 windows open banging way on the server to get access will not help anyone.... If you can't get on- please try again later.We'll keep you posted!

Hey,I got up 5AM this morning to try and beat the rush, seems i was on the late side, it is now 7:40 PM, Iv gone non stop all day tryin to get in, I'm not tryin to complain, but sheesh!!

Nameless-Yes- a many many of you have this experience.... We considered releasing on a weekday- but we didn't want all of you calling in sick! ;-)

Well, 28 hours for me and still no joy, slowly getting mildly annoyed, but still in good spirits.
