June 29, 200223 yr I certainly can't make heads or tails out of that e-mail. But with all the SCREAMING, I would say that the best tact is to ignore whoever this person is. They obviously don't know anything about you (silly man indeed :-lol)
June 29, 200223 yr I think it is a scary email? and if this is making me look like a "Silly man" then i am worried !!Alpha xxxxxxxxx

In fact, the more I consider the email you received , the more I can "smell" FSPLANET.COMBarry
June 29, 200223 yr Avsim have been NICE to me so at risk of being Silly and of being a man ALL my future paints are going to be Exclusive to Avsim.I was not sure if the email is a joke but it is not nice to get this sort of thing into your home when you are not doing any person harm, and then you get this and are not sure why.Anyway thank you for ansering :)Alpha
June 29, 200223 yr Anniette,I get stuff like that all the time, mostly from my "real" work and not simmers. It's just some boring nut case who clearly knows nothing about you (and with your name, you'd think your gender would be obvious). It's the price one pays for all the work one puts in, 99% positive, and 1% silly people like that nutter.Just ignore it. As you have seen from this forum, there are just people who want attention, and can't think of anything positive to say since their lives a really bad.On the other hand, I'm also leaning towards what Barry says below about FSPlanet. What was the sender's address, not that that matters? If you knew how to read headers, you would be able to find the exact location where it was sent, then the exact computer, and send the FBI in and have the guy stripped and tied to a chair and tickled with a wet noodle. (sigh)Ooops, sorry...I drifted there. Anyway...If it were me, I would say: "Anniette, thank-you ever so much for all your hard work and dedication. You are truly a simmer's simmer, and the community greatly benefits from your contributions."Oh, right, I DID say something like that in your rating. ;-)
June 29, 200223 yr THanks Scott :)you also said "quiet" humourous ,where I guess you meant "very"? hmmmmmmmmm ?Anniette xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
June 29, 200223 yr Anniette,Damn. I knew I should have read it better! Spell-checkers don't work when the typo is spelled correctly! :-lolQuite humorous! Very, indeed. ;-)Oh...and I edited my post as you were responding...sorry about that. Never mind, I was off in fantasy land anyway. ;-)
June 29, 200223 yr You might be surprised, Anniette, about the 'funny' emails we get almost every day on our avsim email addresses.. :-eek :-eekI agree, it is not nice at all to receive them.... less 'nice' of the people to write them. But as most respondents have stated here already.. ignore them. This kind of people get the most satisfaction out of stirring things up, scaring people, making you angry. The most frustrating experience for them is to be ignored ;-) ;-)And thanks for supporting AVSIM :-)Amities,Francois :-wave :-outta Francois :-wave

"At home in the wild"[link:avsim.com/alaska/alaska_051.htm|Don's Alaskan Bush Charters]"Beavers Lead the Way"[link:www.avsim.com/vfr_center/mainpages/vfr_flights_main_page.htm]VFR Flight Center]"Looking Good Outside"

http://avsim.com/hangar/air/bfu/logo70.gifhttp://www.fssupport.com/images/moose2.gif

________________________Francois A. June 29, 200223 yr Juste un pauvre type.Mais il ne faut pas oublier de bloquer son addresse, qu'il ne puisse pas te renvoyer un autre courrier.Courage.Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
June 29, 200223 yr Oh yes. Blocking address is my forte. I don't allow any mail from free mail systems, don't allow anything not sent directly to me (gets rid of 90% of the spam), and I definitely don't allow anything with porn words. I than add whole domains and specific people. It's a gift. ;-)
