I've just been reading over at PPRuNe that the UK airline Monarch is planning to include MD-11's in their fleet as an interim measure until new aircraft can be delivered. Would be lovely to see a PMDG MD-11 in the Monarch livery (should the rumour come to fruition). According to it they will be ex-Varig which have now been returned to their leasers. As I say, just a rumour - so please don't shoot the messenger :0)

Indeed. The fact that Monarch has previously operated the MD-11 adds some credit to this rumour. Although, even Monarch pilots/employee's have differing opinions on this!

1 month as go and nothing new photos.Congratulation PMDG.

>1 month as go and nothing new photos.>>Congratulation PMDG.oh come on give them a break they also need vacation

>1 month as go and nothing new photos.>>Congratulation PMDG.1 month has gone by and your awful english hasn't improved a bit. Seriously though, if you've got completely nothing valuable to say, perhaps it's best you stay silent.

>1 month as go and nothing new photos.>>Congratulation PMDG.Dude, they've been developing this old plane for almost 3 years..I knew i should expect anything from this team...They won't see a single penny from me...

Yeah, PMDG have got such a poor record releasing inferior software... That 747 is nothing like the real thing.> They won't see a single penny from me...That's fine, if it means you won't be trolling aorund these forums annoying the rest of us. I'll buy two copies from PMDG to compensate them. ;-)

>Dude, they've been developing this old plane for almost 3>years..Technically the project has been in the works for almost 6 years, the cockpit at least. Most of the people on this forum only know of Bill Grabowski because of his affiliation with PMDG. He announced the MD-11 way back in 2000 or 2001 when he did Project ERJ. PMDG has probably re-worked the MD-11 4,000 ways from January of 2004. It seems that PMDG wanted the 747 (which from what I have read came out of nowhere contrary to the MD-11) out as priority #1 which pushed back the long awaited MD-11 for probably over a year. I maybe wrong but that is how it looks.Brandon

> and every company release news from the new product...You must not go on a different developers website much, as they don't tell you anything.

>Dude, they've been developing this old plane for almost 3>years..damnnnnso long...will the md11 ready until the end of this year?O.oi keep my 2 eyes wide open in this md11 since last year=/

Oh come one guys give them a break, the PMDG guys also had their vacation and if you can't be patient then get lost.If you expect a good looking plane then it would take some time OK.Sure I would like to see progress and a release date but they are still working on it, so be it.Cheers,WouterHolland
