February 12, 200818 yr Hi everybody, quick question: Can anybody please explain why every ILS in the 737NG in fs9 is now offset? This has suddenly started happeing after a long period of simming absence. The aircraft is not even just too far left or right of the centre line, but each approach has about a 10-15 degree portside offset. I have tried every different wind setting, to see if cross wind was the problem, but to no avail. Even in totally wind-still situations, the approach is still offset.Have I unwittingly changed a settng in the FMC by mistake perhaps? Or is this an fs9 general settings issue? Anybody have any other ideas? Any help most appreciated!!Greetz from EDDFEd
February 12, 200818 yr Someone had this problem a couple of months ago and I think it was caused by a UK scenery. Sceneries are almost always the reason for magnetic course changes, might try disabling all of them to see if problem goes away then turn them on individually to find the offender. A rarer occurence is due to registry problems, but I know very little about this event. Dan Downs KCRP
February 12, 200818 yr Hi DanI'm actually using standard scenery and this still happens, irrespective of which airport or runway I select. I might just try deinstalling and reinstalling the PMDG stuff and go from there.GreetzEd
February 12, 200818 yr Let us know if that works... I'm not expecting it to. Maybe your registry for FS9 is incorrect but this is the problem I know little about. Maybe Mats can help out if he's on the forum. Dan Downs KCRP
February 13, 200818 yr Ed,If I remember correctly I have seen other users reporting that this can be caused by erroneous registry settings for FS9. Have you uninstalled FSX lately? Try the registry repair tool linked from a post pinned near the top of the forum. Or download from Flight1.Hope it helps, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
