August 28, 200223 yr Hi all,Since yesterday the view of the list of subjects on PIC767 forum page does not fit my screen anymore when sorted by date. I have to scroll laterally to check all the fields which is kind of annoying. I have not changed any settings and the other forums pages are ok.Do you experience the same problem?Bien amicalementMichelKSEA
August 28, 200223 yr Hey, me to. Maybe they've changed some of the parameters. This scrolling could be put down as repetitive strain injury ;)
August 28, 200223 yr And I thought I was the only one.Something was changed in this forum since the General Discussion forum works just like before.
August 28, 200223 yr The user ratings were removed because of abuse by some folks in the Screenshots Forum. There's a thread about this in the Hanger Talk forum.
August 29, 200223 yr Hey Stiff! May be just as well for them to have been taken down. I have read a few of the remarks associated with some of the ratings and began to wonder if ratings had become a laughing matter.Lets hope the sizing issue is addressed soon though.
August 29, 200223 yr Guys, I'm not sure exactly what is happening but I do know this. All the forums use the same type template for the formatting of the forums, all of them. So for one to be displayed in one format and not the others is very unlikely something to do with the forums, but more than likely something that has gotten corrupted possibly in your browser. Do all of you experiencing problems primarily visit just this forum? And those of you having this problem, have you cleared your browser's cache 100% to see if that clears it up? I'm assuming most in this forum are seeing it correctly?
August 29, 200223 yr I am having the same problem described above, even after clearing browser cache, cookies, etc. The same problem happens from a different PC which had never been used to browse the AVSIM website. My guess is something changed on AVSIM's side.
August 29, 200223 yr I experience the same problem (since about 2-3 days ago) .. and I thought it was just me or my PC until I read this thread.Michael J. Michael J.
August 29, 200223 yr Scott,Same over here! And the PIC767 forum is the only one with which this happens.A few days ago I installed a Explorer security update (Microsoft). Anybody else who has done this recently and has the same phenomenon?Kind regards,Stephan Haas
August 29, 200223 yr Yes, a couple of days ago I reinstalled Windows and then downloaded all the updates.Cheers,Gosta.
August 29, 200223 yr Hi ScottYup, same thing here - started a few days ago, and it's the only forum that does that.FYI: IE6.0 on Windows 2000 ProBRGDSSven Sorensen, EKCH
August 29, 200223 yr Same here... although I can't recall if it co-incided with the security patch update I carried out the other day.I have a similar problem with screenwidth when I use Nestcape for browsing (WinXP) on forums... It forces me to use IE (at first I thought it was a Microsoft conspiracy, but if it does this in IE, I guess not(?)).Cheers.Ian.
