767 PIC & FS2004 compatability

Featured Replies

I sent an email to Wilco a little while ago in regards to a patch for the 767 PIC and I recived a message asking that I check the website regularly. To date I have not seen a thing and wonder if there will be any patch.Anyone know what is going on?Thanks,Rob HalmichBC, Canada

:-xxrotflmao Sorry... couldn't resist.Well Rob, check the pinned topic (the very first one on the top of this forum), it contains information about an entirely new updated 767 that will be FS2004 compatible. They will not patch the old one, but a new one will come instead.Tero

Tero,I thought this may happen, I was wondering if anyone had heard or seen anything regarding a patch. Hopefully we will get a rebate for the new 767 PIC. I am going to email them in that regard and post their reply in this forum.Cheers

I'M not a betting man, but I'm willing to bet that since Wilco will most likely not publish the new VERSION of the 767, that a rebate will not be forthcoming. How long ago did you purchase the PIC767?DS CVA3339 / UKD149System: Hamster/Gerbilized Quantum Accessible 55Gig Iodized-Encrusted Four-poster with Mega-brill Farzenhuuven http://members.shaw.ca/shuttleworth/3339_sig.JPG

See I thinks thats wrong of Wilco to still be selling PIC without letting the buyer know if or if not they will patch it for 04.As for the new 767, does anyone other than the WELP team know who will market it? I personally hope that someone other than Wilco would market it but in the end again its WELP who decides. And in the end it will as it is now be a great plane :)Brian

Yeah, check that first post. It's from Wade and says that "they" meaning the developers (not Wilco) are working on a new FS9 version. As Wade says in that post, "It will not be called "767 Pilot in Command" because that name is owned by WILCO."Possibly Wilco is working on a patch while Wade & company are going for an entirely new FS9 version. Myself, I can't wait for whichever comes first!

Steve Are you actually in Cleveland? KCMH here (which it really is a sucky airport :) )Brian

Wade and the guys own all the Source Code for 767 PIC.All Wilco own is the visual model. No patch will be developed by WILCO, as they don't have any code.

"All Wilco own is the visual model."Thank golly the PONSKY brothers came to the rescue here.Gary

I hate to say this but I also emailed them several weeks ago regarding the same subject matter and got 'Zero' response....Nada...They have one helluva customer service update organization. Talk about a lack of communication with their custermer base...Regards,jack
