September 7, 200421 yr Bob,Thanks for the "reminder." I tried to pull up your profile but it seems as though you don't have one or it's locked out. So, if I may ask, are you a moderator here?
September 7, 200421 yr Mike,I agree with you that we are all looking forward to a V2 release. My point was that news of someone having a beta isn't something we, as users should be overly concerned about. First, as users we have no idea who the official beta testers are. For all we know, this Iain fellow is an actual V2 beta tester. And second, since only the developers know, they are the only ones who can determine if this guy is legit or not.My opinion is that it's a little early to jump on the "it's been pirated," band wagon. As said before, I'm just pleased to hear that apparently a V2 beta is out there. To me, I read that to mean there is a developement of a V2, and that a beta means the software is probably coming together and moving forward. Of course, my preference would place it in the last stage of beta, ready to turn gold. But, since the developers have chosen to keep us fans completely in the dark. . .who knows.Overall, this word of a beta is more info than we've received since Wade's "development is proceeding nicely," announcement. . .which was how long ago? And, since any kind of "official," announcement from the developers is apparently frowned upon, I'll take word of a beta as a VERY positive sign.

September 7, 200421 yr Commercial Member No, real names are not REQUIRED.That said (I love saying "that said"... check out all my posts: I bet 50% of them include the catch-phrase "That said"), using your real name connotes a certain level of responsibility and accountability.I support the notion of real names (at least in the signature).Chief Know-a-lot ;)DS 3339 The SUPPORT FORUM for Level-D Simulations products: http://www.leveldsim.com/forums
