January 4, 200521 yr Normally I use the excellent Flitestar flight planner by Jeppesen, but I want to make a few flights that go outside the covered area (and I do not want to expand my expensive Flitestar subscription for just a few flights), I'm talking EHAM-KBOS, EHAM-KEWR, EHAM-FACT (CapeTown). So I'm looking for a flightplanner (NOT FSNavigator) or ready made flight plans for the B767-300ER.I understand that FSBuild is a very good one, but it does not come with performance data (also not on their web site) for the B767, so I will have to enter them myself. Do any of you have the program and can you confirm that the entering of the data is quite straightforward, or perhaps could you provide me with the FSBuild performance configuration for a 767-300ER.Or is there another planner having the data allready preconfigured or do you have another suggestion ???Thanks for your advice...:-badteeth
January 5, 200521 yr I give you a suggestion about what I use though it may not be what you want. I use a web site called FBOweb and that has real world flights from Airports that are planned and current. It does cost $9.95us a month but it works for me. This is what can be available. It is time sensitive so you may not have an available flight at the time you want but I save them in notepad. Anyway her you go as an example:FlightID: DAL101 Status: FILED Filed With: KZTL - Atlanta, GA Equipment: H/B763/Q Proposed Departure Time: 0140Z Departing: ATL HARTSFIELD - JACKSON ATLANTA INTL Destination: SAEZ MINISTRO PISTARINI Route of Flight: KATL..SOONE.J89.HITTR..LLAKE.J85.DHP..TANIA.UG430.UCA.UA301.TOTON.UA301.DAGAN.UA301.MARTU.UA301.PUPAS.UA301.REMEX.UA301.TRI.UA301.VIR.UA321.MOROS.UL793.SIS.UL793.GUA.UW65.PAGON.PGON6.SAEZ/0933 ETA: 1125 Speed: 0469 Altitude: 330 http://www.fboweb.com/21/Freeware wise I use routefinder:http://rfinder.asalink.net/free/?PHPSESSID...b00308b73d0fe80Hope I could help a little Andrew
January 5, 200521 yr Commercial Member FSBuild custom performance files exist for PIC767. I have used one that is very true to the PIC flight model's performance. FSBuild also outputs flightplans in PIC's native file format and drops it into the proper directory so loading the built flightplans is very easy.Wade
January 5, 200521 yr Hi Andrew,Routefinder may be something for me, and it has world coverage !!!Thanks
January 5, 200521 yr Hi Wade,That is good news. I think of getting FSBuild and try to find that performance config. Thanks
January 5, 200521 yr Hello,What I personnaly do is to do the routing with the route finder freeware, it is very good, uses the same airac as our addon, has a world coverage, and you can include the real world nat track, as well as the CDR and airways restriction in Europe. When this is done I do a copy and past in FSbuilt like this I have a copy of all my FPL for further use.Cyrille de LattreAsus P4P800/4 2.4 Ghz/1.5Giga DDRAMATI 9800 Pro 128 MegATI 9200 SE 128 MegWin XP SP2 / FS9.1 with and with out nocd key.PSS Beta tester
January 5, 200521 yr Hi.You can also take a look to Flight Operation Center at http://www.danur.com/frontpage/prod01.htmI think that this is the more professional software tool for flight planning. You can add to the calculation a lot of parameters, including real weather (downloaded from a dedicated server) and, for me one of the most useful features of this planner, a complete ETOPS/EROPS analysis with graphical map of the route.Regards,Jose M. January 5, 200521 yr Commercial Member Thanks Jose, I hadn't heard of that one. I'll take a look at it.Wade
January 5, 200521 yr Guys,Please don't forget the Pilotmedia Flightplanner. It is a professional flight planning tool, that has at some point been used by a large American airline as an aid to flight planning. It has everything you could ask of. It's free, and it's here: www.pmfp.com.Tero PPL(A)

January 5, 200521 yr Hi Jaaky,For your information: I have adapted the PIC767 config file for FSBuild (from Michael Bevington) to kilograms which is more common in Europe. The predictions of this config file/FSBuild and weather data from ActiveSky, are very accurate. You can download my file from my website, downloads, FSBuildFiles.zipSucces.Nicowww.nicokaan.nl
January 5, 200521 yr Yikes! EUR54! Does look very professional thoughIs anyone on this forum using it? Whats it like?
January 5, 200521 yr I have it but to be perfectly honest I seldom use it. I always "fall back" to the same method as Laurent mentioned earlier. The major difference for me is the ETOPS calculations that FOC does, very nice and nifty though there is a lack of good tutorials that explain ETOPS rules. As of yet there is no navdata update possible apart from making manual changes, though the developers are apparently working on some sort of subscription service. Check the DANUR forums for more info.Weather data also comes at a subscrption fee.Hope this is of some help. /Tord Hoppe, Sweden
January 5, 200521 yr What a wealth of information. Thanks very much.I think that the Routefinder/FSBuild combination may be best for my purposes.Nico, I'll be downloading the performance file from your website, dank je wel.:-wave
