February 10, 200719 yr Hi Tom,Just to add my $0.02... we are already being asked to try and supply our planned vacation time for the fall, so knowing (at least) the conference dates would be helpful. But, no pressure or anything. :-) Cheers! Bryan OpalkaNoble Air - Americas Region
March 11, 200719 yr Date have been announced on the home page.Seattle, WA. Lots of things to do and see in Seattle. Near the Space needle is a wierd looking building that I forgot the name of which houses a sci-fi exhibit as well as a history of rock-n-roll. Then there's a flight museum and Boeing Field and Aircraft. Maybe the AVSIM Team has something special planned at Boeing?????I'm planning to attend again even without an FSX giveaway incentive.
March 11, 200719 yr I was hoping for more news on the UK Avsim Convention planned for the Spring.Simon Butler
March 11, 200719 yr Simon, for the past two months or so, we have been exploring venues at which to hold a "traditional" AVSIM event. So far, we have come up with a very expensive list of possibilities. However, I can't imagine the UK simmer wanting to pay some 250 UKP to attend one. We are still looking and talking (with potential partners as well), and I am doubtful that anything will now be held this year. But next is being discussed.
