Guys, I looked into the installer routines a bit more and found another problem. Try the actual AS2004ModulesActiveSky2004 folder, the install routine is not properly finding the actual data folder from with AS2004 base.Please let me know if that does the trick.. Thanks! Guys, This has gotten me totally confused so I should probably ask for clarification before I waste hours on it trying to set it up.My set up, which is probably typical of that of others: Main Computer: FS9 FS9/Modules/ActiveSky 2004 (within this folder are the AS2004.exe and the Active Radar Connector) FS9/Modules/Active Radar FS9/Modules/ActiveRadar.dll Client Computer: C:/INSTALLDIR/Modules/Active Radar C:/INSTALLDIR/Modules/Active Sky 2004 Standard installation for WideFS. When I go to the main computer to map a drive to the client, I use Z:...F is not available, that is my CD ROM drive in the client. When I activate the Active Radar/WideFS connector on the main computer, it looks for Drive F, so I get an error. When I try to change the drive to anything other than F, I get an error. So I am at parade rest. There is a workaround with and HKEY command for the registry, I never mess with the registry stuff, can anyone explain how to do this, is it a DOS or similar command? I also understand that even though I plan to run AS2004 on the remote, the radar display will only work on the Main Computer, or at least that is what I think I understand. I use 1.92 WXRE on the client with WideFs, it works very well (the drive to do this is mapped from the client to the main, just the opposite of what is recommended for AS2004....). I want to keep all of the processing power of my system available for FS2004. thanks in advance for any help or suggestions...regards,

Damian,I tried all the options without sucess. If the new program is not coming out shortly (24hrs) is there any chance you could 'walk' me through manual setup. I have no problems editing the registery if need be.ThanksAndrew

Ivo,This may sound like a stupid question ;) but which PC did you run active connector from. The FS or remote machine?I don't consider myself particularly dumb but configuring this is driving me nuts!:-mad

First I shared the directory C:Program FilesAS2004Modules on the remote machine.Then, on the FS machine, I mapped this shared directory to a free drive letter (i.e. G:).Afterwards I run the WideFS Connector program on the FS PC and pointed it to G:ActiveSky 2004.Good luck,Ivo
